That pie looks awesome, Natalie! I too watched Pushing Daisies and wondered if the cheese in the pie would be good. It sure looks good!

EMAIL DAN! NOW!!!
Brandy524 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only time I've e-mailed Dan was to vote on the recent video of the screaming match at SFOG. And that was because Robb posted something on facebook that they needed more votes. I've never taken the "e-mail Dan" things seriously either. -
Darn it, it looks like Ninja is holding its own. I don't think Superman was mentioned, but you have to go through Lickskillet to get to Superman don't you? Or can you cut across Carousel Hill? I think there's a shortcut, isn't there? How does the Gotham City side look? In those earlier pictures Mindbender was pretty bad. And the back parking lot was flooded.

Awesome updates, Natalie! Your captions crack me up! Sorry about the bad week. It will get better!! -
if the water recedes today, I'd bet they will open. This has happened with several tropical storms in the past and they always reopen pretty quickly. Problem is that the water was still rising as of last night... Agreed...but the forecast calls for rain through Sunday. I don't see how they're going to get all that water out while it's still coming down. Hopefully they will. But the satellite images don't look good. We actually have a little bit of sunshine here in northeast Alabama. I wore my sunglasses at lunch for the first time in what feels like forever!

Our county fair was last week so we took the kiddos on Thursday night. They really didn't have a lot of rides (at least not grown-up rides). There were a good many kids' rides but only about four adult rides. And I didn't take any pictures of the adult rides. Sorry, but you've all seen them before. They had a Himalaya, a Scrambler, a ferris wheel, a Tilt-a-Whirl, and some kind of thing with seats at the end of arms that went around in circles and the seats went up and down. I didn't see the name. We bought a sheet of 24 tickets for $20. And that's it. The girls had a lot fun and have already been asking when they can go back. Alas, not for another year! Poor Ally ran into the glass! The Glass House. Our empty dragon after the ride was over. My husband, Danny, and Cammy inside the Dizzy Dragons. Ally and I inside the Dizzy Dragons. The guy that was running this was dancing to the music blasting from the Himalaya. The slides. The girls *said* they liked them, but they didn't want to go down again! A view of the whole train. The girls loved this circus train. This was the first time they had ridden anything by themselves. A shriner's car. They were really nice to the kids.
