TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index

^Don't worry about that one, not necessary. A lot of parks change their signs for the Halloween Events. -

The more I read from Shane (and others), the more I rue the fact that I never experienced the old KBF. -
Hey if you don't want to read his trip reports or what he has to say then i suggest you do one thing. Don't click his thread to read it. Its that simple, there is a little thing in this world called free speech. Plus if anyone should be telling him he shouldn't post its the owners of this site, not you. It's a little hypocritical of you to mention free speech and then complain about what someone else writes. Some people enjoy this thread and some find the writer creepy and don't like the thread. Just like it never mattered to Howard Stern whether you liked him or not, as long as you listened. It doesn't matter to Michael whether you like it or not as long as people feed his ego by opening the thread and responding. Until he makes a John Lennonesque comment about being bigger then TPR his threads will continue.

Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!
larrygator replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been on 3 trips and never has the morning drive before riding been more than an hour. The longest drives are usually at the end of day (but not overnight) as R&E try to be as close as possible to the next mornings park. Everyday usually begins with being at a park before opening, as pre-opening and after close are the times that parks offer ERT sessions. All bets are off on the Scandi trip as ferries (not just buses) are as a mode of transportation . R&E and will be better able to answer specific bus travel questions once the Trip Q&A is set up. -
This is why we keep putting off the TPR Australia Trip...
larrygator replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
Hold on a second. What the hell were the idiots on last night's epsiode of MonsterQuest doing in Texas and the Amazon failing miserably in their quest for a giant spider. I guess those dopes should have been in Australia, if the picture is real. -
Scream On Scream Photoshop Contest!

^it was one of my votes also. Although Robb said the entries did not have to be Halloween themed I still voted for those who stayed in that scary/weird realm. -
Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!
larrygator replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No one outside of the Alveys has a guaranteed spot on the trips at this time. People who place deposits are eligible for the lottery on the trip they have specified. At the deadline, if the # of people placing deposits for a trip is lower than the bus capacity, a lottery will not be necessary and at that time your spot will be guaranteed. -
Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!
larrygator replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Your pace is far from leisurely (more like frenetic) when a park has statues. -
Amount 30 minutes for Speed Monster at Tusenfryd, however it was not running when I got on the line. It was during an ERT session with TPR in 2006, after the park closed but at least we had incredible rides on Thunder Coaster in the rain as a substitute. I usually won't wait more than 30 minutes, I usually ride the unreliable coasters early in the day before the line builds. If a coaster has a long line and is unreliable I'll generally skip it.

Eating and coasters
larrygator replied to JFrombaugh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I never had a problem, but I try not to eat a lot before riding Flyers with Pretzel Loops, just in case. I would not ride G-Force at Drayton on a full stomach with its boa constrictor restraints. -
I think it was great for population control. All emos should rise up and kill themselves in memory.

I lied last week when I said I would vote for Brent. Not only has Matt made fun of me for 3 days, but I also witnessed this hypocrite order a fruity drink while wearing a shirt that had "I live for beer" inscribed upon it. You "live" for beer? Well now you can die "beer" traitor. -

Look at how CFs stock has completely plummeted. Don't count on any capital improvements until the economic situation settles down. -
Wild Adventures GA coupon?

Common sense dictates that someone from New Jersey is unlikely to spend 2 days in the Valdosta area. Nor is it likely that someone living that far away would need a season pass or have any inclination to visit WA twice in a lifetime. -

Sorry Brent but I think the 14 year old with the best writing in next. God can't kill Wes and neither can any of us.
