See, there's the problem right there. You must be talking about a different Epcot. This one opened in the 80's. See "Exhibit A" below. So after that glowing review, a new country, a possible expansion of another, or a new ride is gonna bring you back? I guess until then I'll just catch you at the mall, while I'm there buying new shoes to walk through the 70's. I spent some time in there durring a rain storm. Good stuff... -

Nice pictures. Brings back a lot of memories of the park. I remember waiting in line for the demon as well. The whole staircase shook, and when the train was launched, it sounded like a loud fart...lol I remember watching the safari ride, but I don't ever remember riding it. I could never figure out why they got rid of the sky lab ride, or the beer barrel ride. The sky lab was a great ride, and the barrels fit in perfectly in it's spot in octoberfest. I remember the sky commander ride(think that was the name) and the triple wheel as well. I agree about tomb raider. If I were cederfair, I would be imbarased about the shape of the ride today. I thought the park used to have a himalaya ride at one point. Anyone remember if they did? -

Nice pictures. I don't know why, but it seems that everytime I go to this park, it's a million degrees outside. -

Remember pleasure island and all the cool clubs? I am sure that I am not the only one who misses the night life and all the great clubs that pleasure island had. I really enjoyed the comedy club, mannequins, and the adventure club. I have some videos from a few of the clubs that I will try to post soon. The next update will be of downtown disney and disneyquest. Sigh.... 8 Trax. I never really went into this club much. I loved this place, just as long as I did not sit next to the phone. The seating area Blurry picture, but they had a lot of old disney singage scatterd around. The keyboard player. The skits were really funny. This was one of my favorate places to go at pleasure island. It was cool just to wander around the club and look at everything. This guy always cracked me up. They used to have him dance. Part of the show.... Banner There were things to look at everywhere. One last look. The B.E.T club. This was probaly the least popular club at pleasure island. I never see it very buisy. That's too bad, because it was a nice looking club. The next club cool... Bar area My favorate club. The rotating dance floor. Bad picture of dance floor. They had a TON of lighting in this club There was also a whole wall of lights. Looking down at the dance floor. One last look at adventures club. The only bad thing about pleasure island, was knowing that you had to get up early the next morning to go to the next park. Here are a few pictures of breakfast the food court at pop century the next day. Look...A hidden mickey. -

Define "shuttle coaster". If you are talking about boomerang coasters, not all cedarfair parks have them. Off the top of my head I can tell you that cedarpoint, michigans adventure, and dorney park does not have one. -

So what your saying is that it's a bad park because it does not have a 500 foot coaster? Seriously though,There is a lot more to the world showcase than just food and shopping. I love coasters and thrill rides as much as anyone, but that's not the reason I go to epcot. I can't quite put my finger on why I like it so much. Maybe it's the people or the displays? Not sure. -

For some reason, I can't find all my pictures from the keys to the kingdom tour. I will post the ones I have, and I hope I can add some more. Here is what I can find right now.....enjoy. We decided to do the keys to the kingdom tour at the magic kingdom. That ment we had to be there early before the park opend. The check in area just inside the main gate. All the other guests were waiting to get in. It was weird being in the park with no crowds. As you can tell by the decorations, it was halloween time. Random picture with no people. We got a private meet and greet with the parade people before it started. Lunch was included with the tour, as well as a trading pin. The lunch was upstairs at the columbia harbor house. They had a whole section reserved for us. Our lunch and pin was waiting for us when we arrived. The view from the restaurant. It really is a nice restaurant....only problem is that I don't care for seafood. Also had a nice view of the river. I see you haunted mansion... I never noticed the area down below, untill I looked down at it. Our first behind the scenes tour was in haunted mansion. They give everyone an earpiece so that they can tell you about the ride while your on it. There are a lot of interesting facts about this ride. They have a secret entrance just for the tour. They even themed it like the rest of the ride. It was very dark, so I was not able to get too many pictures of the inside. On our way to the utilidoors(underground tunnels), They had a piano player. I have always seen the piano, but never the piano player. There is a secret entrance to the tunnles in this room. Can you guess where this is? One more clue.... Blurry utilidoor pictures. The tunnel system is massive. There were signes everywhere pointing people in the right direction. We got our own showing of country bear jamberee. Not sure what this was. It was not a speaker. Yayyy...no people to deal with. I love this. They used to have this attraction at Disneyland as well. Yep...it was country bear After country bear, we got to take a nap...err, I mean check out the hall of presidents. This theater is HUGE!! All the crooks...err..I mean presidents. Speaking of crooks.... Random fountain shot. They also let us skip the line and take a ride on space mountain. Space mountain track porn. POV shot. Wow....... Lift hill. Yep...it was dark Passing the lift hill Not sure what's going on here The red tunnel Again...not sure why the bolts are painted. The ramp up the exit. I have not been on space mountain since the redo, but I hear a lot has changed. I guess this is all gone now. They finished up the tour with a q&a, and a ride on pirates of the carribean. That's it for this update. The next update, will be a look back at pleasure island R.I.P. -

I believe the IntimidaTour trip is starting now, and Robb and Elissa just go from one trip to another. Yea, but that's a week away. I was just wondering if they are doing any parks between now and then. -

I think we all know what they are getting next year. BTW..... Have you guys seen what they are saying on that other cedarpoint fan site? They think that Rob is a "troller" and a "spammer" that is making silly post's on that site...lol They also said this..."Well we can agree on one thing, Robb Alvey is a friggin slob." My god, I am glad I don't post on there anymore. It's nice to have a site to come to where everyone gets along and you don't have all the silliness. I am not posting this to start any problems. Just thought I would show how great this site is compared to other sites. Thank you Rob. -

Short update today, as I have ANOTHER birthday party to go to. I swear, in all my years, I have never had so many partys and bbq's to go to than I have this year. This update is of one of the hotels I stayed at. The coronado. The resort is beautiful, but it cost a lot more than the "value" resorts at disney. To us, it did not make sense to stay in a more expensive hotel, because we were never there long enough to enjoy it. We wanted to stay a few nights here just to check it out. My next update will be the keys to the kingdom behind the scenes tour. The coronado This sign was at the entrance...not sure why. Registration center. The ceiling at the entrance. Front of hotel Fountain in the entrance Bellhop area The inside of the room. It is no bigger than a value resort room. Bathroom area This was the building we stayed in. Pool area Waterslide Cool theming Looking accross the lake at the main resort building Next are a few shots of the main building Gift shop. The convention center, and restaurants are down a long hall. All the way at the end are where the restaurants are. The pepper market is the resorts food court. They also have a sit down restaurant that serves breakfast. The food court has several differant food islands. Lots of things to choose from, but the food all had a mexican flair to it. The seating area. They had a weird way of doing things here. First you get your food, then you eat, then you stand in line to pay. It was a nice looking food court, allthough it was kinda small . They also have a bar and lounge area. I like staying at the resorts because they have a great transpertation system. -
