  1. Ok taking bets now. I give it 3 months top to survive IF it opens.
  2. ^ I was just thinking the same thing while reading. Nice job Mike!
  3. They had a Sizzler set up for Ghost Lake and Pumpkin Fest. I never rode it because I was to busy and never had time but it looked insane and looked pretty with the lake behind it.
  4. Well you have obviously not been on Monster Plantation Well..Tooshay
  5. Great video though. Very well Done!
  6. ^Its words from the Park not a random person Greg and Steve group has what they need to pull it off. Yes the Blue Streak not being open would be a damper but most of it would be open and would be worth it! Cant wait to see Grandma again!
  7. Volunteer Weekends are April 25th & 26th and May 2nd & 3rd! Another way to help the park! ANd have fun and meet new people those weekends are always a blast and a way to get behind the seens and see what you normally would not be allowed to be seen by guests. www.conneautlakepark.com/html/volunteering.html
  8. I will try and take a trip up to the park this week to see if anywork is going on. I will take pictures and post them when I find out.
  9. While we are talking about SFOG me and my friend are taking a trip down south to SFOG-March 28 Carowinds - March 29 Dollywood - March 30 (My Birthday) And I was wondering if any of the rides are unfriendly to bigger people? I am not as big as I used to be but I have some fat left and I am just wondering if any of the restraints may pose a problem thank you.
  10. Yeah the ride is fine. Its in a building safely at CLP I have seen it myself we almost lost it in the fire though luckily it survived with just minor smoke damage. The Haunts and other bits of the ride is in Greg Sutterlin's Garage waiting to be rebuilt.
  11. The BS is very underrated. It is an Airtime machine. Mostly in the back seat. Also the lack of restraints help alot. Greg talked alot of the repair of rides and what each one would take when i was working for Ghost lake. Most wont take much work and some already can run.
  12. Sorry posted the wrong link the right one is up there now. I am curious as to which ones will reopen. I know that the train still runs but will require some track work Kiddieland rides will require less work than the bigger rides. The Devil's Den all you will have to do is take off the floor from the haunt. I made sure not to damage the ride tracks when I put that in. Bumper Cars only really need work on the cars and taking the wall from the fog down. Tumble bug should be in good shape Carousel all you have to do is retrieve the organ and a few horses that are in storage. Need new breaks on the Witches Stew, and new motors for the rides that lost theres in the fire.
  13. www.conneautlakepark.com/html/hours.html Thank you to the Board, Park Preservation and the volunteers for all the are doing!! keep up the great work.
  14. looks great. Were those news crews or attendees? Photo "I should have left this in the car, Its to cold to be carrying this thing around"
  15. I noticed most videos are a bit laggy. Im not sure if its my connection though.
  16. Real mature. Seriously Yes some ACErs can be a little over board but not all are bad folks. I am very active with ACE. yes the museum project did fail but the preservation projects are real great (Leap the Dips). And the Buffets TPR gets the same treatment. And no I am not fat I have lost alot of pounds lately and am still losing pounds. I appreciate the personal attack though I found that very incorrect. Once again though not all ACErs should be judged as a group. Some people do stupid or rude things but not every one should be blamed. TPR has my vote for most entertaning though.
  17. I have heard of this group before several times actually. I have never used it before, but have never heard anything bad about it.
  18. So totally agree, I find it hilarious that that Chris mentioned TPR for Terminator pictures. Not that Robb and Elissa don't take the best pictures, but it seems they would use the GCI site. I would much rather have a bunch of awesome people getting a little off topic about coasters, than boring people. I would not attack all ACEer's I am a member of TPR (Obviously) and Ace and both are great groups. ACE has the events, The Publications, and The Get togethers, and we all are not boring people . TPR has the Forum which are awesome. Great people and fun events, the updates and videos. ACE is for the more serious enthusiasts who care about history and small parks and want to see preservation than tearing down and outdated ride for the 500 foot inverted woodie . TPR is geared toward the fun, none serious enthusiasts. I spend more time on TPR than I do with ACE and both are just as great. But TPR has my vote for fun and entertainment but I will always be and ACEr and I'm proud of it.
  19. Any word on when it will open?
  20. hey mike nice update but the Speaker from waldameer is Paul Nelson not Wilson lol.
  21. As Greg Gutfeld from Fox News Red Eye said last night "America has become full of a bunch of whiny babies"
