  1. Ghost Lake is run by Mid America Events out of Niles Ohio. They also operate the Canfield Scaregrounds. The park does get a pretty decent sum for the event.
  2. Grrr thanks for making Japan much more appealing now . I got some tough choices to make now.
  3. Pittsburgh is one of my favorite places to drink. There is so many great places to visit especially the south side so I find it very odd they have been getting the uproar as they have... but than again it's already been pointed out that people always needs to find something whine about.
  4. No Dollywood Silver Dollar City Marineland Indiana Beach Waldameer (except ERT) Rye Playland Yes Cedar Point (besides MF, and TTD) Martin's Fantasy Island Busch Gardens Tampa (with a limit of one re-ride) Worlds of Fun Conneaut Lake Park Knoebels
  5. ^Well it hasn't been confirmed on the opening for Transformers and Potter part 2 won't be open for another few years. For Fantasyland the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train won't be open till 2014.
  6. Six Flags must have realized people love when parks blow things up. www.businessweek.com/ap/2012-10-09/texas-chute-out-ride-at-six-flags-to-be-imploded
  7. Mountains, a blue sea, and the city? Can't get much better than that.
  8. I did overhear the Giant Wheel crew talking about having to schedule for Troika next weekend. I'm not surprised they are reopening it now since the insane crowds are about to start arriving and they are already down the capacity of 3 rides since last years Halloweekends.
  9. To answer your questions it takes about 2 hours to go through all the haunts and BS on a busy night not including the new "Horrifying haunt" the hotel is putting on. It's $20 and includes 7 Haunts and the Blue Streak. That is really a good price considering for most haunts its that price for just one haunt. The Little Dipper and the Toboggan are closed.
  10. I'm actually glad he did bump this... Reading it again brought back some great memories for me.
  11. Speaking of Space Spiral. Someone put together a great documentary about the ride's history and really reminds you about how significant the ride was as it was the icon for the park for most of it's time before being forgotten about when rides like Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster came around.
  12. www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1253334--marineland-allegations-of-poor-treatment-of-deer-bears
  13. Well they did it before... But I bet they will take it apart piece by piece.
  14. Very interesting read, I didn't even know it was possible for the boats to jump the track.
  15. One of the best things about TPR trips is that you will meet a TON of new and welcoming friends. Even if you can't find someone to go with, you should go anyway! This I knew NO ONE before doing the Italy/Europe Tours last year and I ended up leaving with some really amazing friends.
  16. Not to mention Dollywood hosted ACE's Coaster Con and most of the voters are members of ACE...
  17. How is Cedar Point better than the other 3???
  18. Cedar Point's got stuck earlier this season.
  19. I do belive they said it will be scrapped.
  20. Meh, good ride but confusing story... I still think Spiderman is better.
  21. Definatly wont be dead... but shouldn't be horrible busy either.
  22. But that defeats the purpose of the attraction. Park Admission I know what you meant but I remember reading an article awhile back talking about Dinosaurs Alive they went on to say they started doing it to draw school groups to the park. If they can gain access with out park admission (Plus the $5 on top) than thats alot of lost revenue.
