  1. It's cool to see with all this stock footage of CGA in the past that at one point this park was popular. Sad to see the state that its in now. Even though the underlying theme of this particular thread had been for the past few weeks to wait for the park to close, it's still sad to see a park that could be so much more than it is.
  2. ^^In all honesty, sticking his head up did give him the best vantage point....well, up until, you know.
  3. ^I'd know. And if you were the reason it got removed...you would've made an enemy for life........ Ghostrider. At this point in it's life, it has no airtime. If it did, I could see standing the three minute beat-down you have to put up with. But for the positives you get, verses the negatives you have to deal with...just torch it and clone (or at least mimic) El Toro.
  4. ^Soundbites can be very easly manipulated. Sorry to hear that.
  5. ^It all depends on the park that gets it. If Holiday World got Top Gun, then (John Travolta-like voice) Oh my God.
  6. ^To my understanding, there were major compontants that needed refurbishing, and since it was going to be down for a while, I think they just decided to paint it. Why they don't bother finishing Xcelerator is beyond me.
  7. ^If so, WTF is his plan for Son of Beast? My guess is they let it rot for a few years so its easier to demolish...
  8. I've always thought the Superman in the Loony Tunes Super Store was a much better sculpted figure. If they bolted that figure up there, it'd look prettyeffin' sweet.
  9. No shocker there, thats pretty much a standard weekdayfor this park up until Spring Break. Glad to see you didnt have much of a wait, though.
  10. ^^As I remember, they jus task you some pesonality questions, (standard) and ask you what you would be interested in working in. My interview only lasted about 15 minutes. Unless they changed the process dramatically since 2007, as long as you do't come off to the interviewer as Norman Bates, you're in. Good luck and hope you get it.
  11. The oly real restricted element Flight Deck has to it is the helix. And 'm sure it's pretty easy to dig a hole. That ride is very relocate-able.
  12. Yes, for any coaster junkie, there'd be no point in a west coast trip without MM/KBF
  13. I've been twice so far, and I really want to check out this waterpark. No telling if I'll get a chance to in the future.
  14. ^^There was a food truck festival no one told me about?! Arg!
  15. I was strolling through Lakewood on my skateboard tonight. Aww yea son.
  16. ^The ride has 5 blocks. It was always programmed to run three trains. Kentucky Kingdom just never bought a third. I don't know of a B&M in existance that had a large amount of a downtime issue solely on having three trains (save for Tatsu)
  17. ^Not at all. I think a lot of us here enjoyed workig on coasters just too hear people scream. I got a kick out of it.
  18. ^True, but Orlando isn't Los Angeles or Boston, either. So if he wants to start adding jewelry to his fists, I'd understand if he wanted to leave.
  19. Well I'm sure it has to be pretty snug, because if it wasn't, launching backwards would jerk you into it anyway.
  20. ^Off Topic:Love your signature...big Futurama fan On Topic: I think the new pavement is for a new midway on the backside of Cantina linking that trail between Silver Bullet an Fiesta Village. Wich would be nice, seeing how one way in, one way out for Windseekers area would suck donkey balls...
  21. Be A Lion (From The Wiz Sdtk)-Diana Ross
  22. Maybe this will help. So you're sayig he looks like Mac Tonight?
