I wonder how much rent is today. We don't pay that much for a 3 bedroom apartment. But then again, we don't live in California.
We can't save money like you guys, it's not that simple. Ugh, but I know we need to try soon enough. We would like to go on a full trip with you guys next summer maybe.
A couple of days ago I PM'd Robb for details, none yet, the suspense is killing me
I'm going on Sunday to get my season's passes with my husband and another couple so we can get the discount.
I can't wait to meet everyone. My husband will have to get the day off work though since it's a Monday. But we're looking forward to meeting some new people and having a blast.
I will submit a review, my very first one, just have to make sure I have enough batteries for the day.
Robb, I have a crappy computer, so it doesn't help the situation.
I don't have much problem with zip files, tar files however, freeze me completely.
I'm not sure why streaming wouldn't work though.
I downloaded and watched the first 5 videos and the one that really stood out to me was Kevin Aglione's Cedar Point video.
All I've seen over the years are on ride POV's and people. This one focused more on the coasters and scenery more than anything else.
I liked the b&w slow mo intro, that's something I've never seen before in a coaster video, and I've watch many a video in my lifetime.
While it only focused on one park, I didn't find it boring at all.
OMG, the park is dwarfed by Behemoth. It could be an advertising ploy, done deliberately to attract guests, or it really is that large, lol.
Well, it looks great all the same. Glad to have gotten a look at it before the season starts.
I'd like to go in August. I was supposed to go last summer, when I had it planned, the weather was supposed to be great. The trip never happened, but maybe this year it will.
I know. Man the line for IJ was all the way past the Psyclone/Shockwave area, it was that long.
And with all the problems with it, it was understandable that the lines were so long.
It's looking really good, I can't wait to ride it this year.
The lines will be brutal, I know this, I worked there when Italian Job opened, and opening day lineup was 4 hours long.
I've got to pipe up a sec about CF not spending money.
They're spending it, but in the wrong places. Who shelled out $25 mil for Behemoth? Wasn't it CF?
Didn't they also purchase all of the Paramount parks a while back?
I'm hoping to get to CP this summer, I've never been out of Canada to another theme park besides WDW, and that was like 20 years ago, before I became a coaster fanatic.
You guys are planning the best day for this, its my 1st wedding anniversary. I would love to join you guys with my husband, as we spent our honeymoon(sort of), there last year.
I live close to the park, but am not sure what you guys need me to do.
I'd never attempt a POV myself, not because the parks say not to, but because I'd probably drop my camera.
I don't have a video camera, I use my Canon S3IS for some video, I just need more memory for it.
I took an off ride video of Vortex at Canada's Wonderland last year and it turned out quite nice. I just wish I knew where I put the video I uploaded.
Sure looks like you guys all had a blast. I had fun checking out the pictures which were absolutely amazing.
Hope to see some of you at Canada's Wonderland this summer.
Canada's Wonderland(I practically live there.)
Maybe: Cedar Point(like everyone else, if I have the cash).
I'm a new coaster nut, so I'd like to explore the coaster capital of the world
I watch the construction of this ride anytime I go by the park.
I can't wait until I can ride it. It's about time something good came to Wonderland. I'm glad Cedar Fairs took over, they know what they're doing alright.
