It has been mentioned a couple times in this thread already, but I think it bears repeating that Peter Pan is a ride that you should try to get on very early. The line can get quite long even just shortly after the park opens. If you happen to have tickets that allow early entry to DL on one of your days, then knocking out the lower capacity rides in Fantasyland may be worth considering during that time.

Thanks to the parks and TPR for a great time at both parks this weekend. I left both parks a little early since each are a couple hours drive (give or take a half hour) and I get up very early in the morning. Despite leaving early, I still got more than my fill of rides on all my favorites. An extra special thanks to CGA today for the nice gift bags! In addition, they were going to be handing out Invertigo coaster wheels to those staying for the night ERT. While I'm not a big coaster part collector myself, that kind gesture of sharing part of the park's history was definitely well received by those in attendance. SFDK once again brought out several animals for us during the time after lunch and the Q&A. Those little touches are really what make these events so enjoyable, beyond the fact that we get to visit our local parks. R&E going to all the trouble to arrange this event for us, and Bob (Gisco) coming all the way up to host it for us, is certainly appreciated. By the way, if anyone other than R&E, Bob, and the parks were involved, then thank you too!

No... If you look back you'll see that I've made posts in this thread that weren't so "whiny". It's not like I'm the only who hasn't said not-so-nice things about the park. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that I've been to this park a few more than you have. I actually really pay attention to all three of my major home parks. I'm not saying "OMG SFDK IS TEH WRRST PLACE EVAR AND I'M GONNA POST HERE ON EVERY PAGE OF THIS THREAD SO THAT PEOPLE KNOW HOW HORIBLE IT IS!11!!" alright? Come on, I know haven't been so specific about my bad experiences and my whining might seem unjust (I can assure you it's not), but it's only just how I see the park. Also, i grew up on Disney, so I sometimes have a bit of criticism for other parks that just aren't Disney. Anyways, I just wanted to answer your question and not turn this is to a pain in the A$$ discussion of how good, or not good this park it. I'm sorry to hear that you've had such bad experiences.

It's gotten rougher the past few years. It's not as bad as Ghostrider was when Ghostrider was really bad, and not nearly as smooth as Terminator/Apocalypse. Overall, I'd call it medium-rough, but not spine-adjusting rough. You'll just have to ride it for yourself to see where it lands on your rough meter.

If someone else is paying, then of course it's worth it.

It's still hit and miss for me. I get some notifications, but not others. I'm sure it will be sorted out soon enough. I can manually check my favorite threads in the meantime.

It seems to be working again, at least for some threads. Oddly enough, the thread that I unsubscribed, and then resubscribed, hasn't notified me of the new posts it has received. I'm guessing it will work itself out.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? It seems to have started yesterday. I'm not receiving emails notifying me that threads have received a post since my last visit, when I check on the forums and they have, in fact, recieved replies. Maybe I accidentally clicked something and turned them off? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't you actually have to grope the boob for it to be called a credit? I mean, I can't count a coaster as a credit by just seeing it. Perhaps we can get some clarification on this particular situation, and a picture.

As it stands now, Mooseburger Lodge is the best food value in the park. Yes, it's priced like typical theme park food (which is to say that it's more costly than a typical burger joint outside the park) but at least the food is good. You also get the "atmosphere" of the lodge and free refills on your drinks. I may grab a snack or 2 around the park, but we always plan on having any full meals at Mooseburger.

I've looked at all the pictures, read the captions, and watched most of the videos. All I can say is, "Incredible!" This ranks right up there with the best and most comprehensive TRs ever on TPR. On an unrelated note, I never before realized the Aqatopia vehicles rolled around on wheels in shallow water. I had always assumed they were like remote controlled bumper boats that ran in water that was at least a couple feet deep. The things you learn from reading TPR... By the way, can you tell the water is shallow when you're riding? If not for that picture of the drained attraction I would have still thought it was deeper water.
