  1. I've been reading reports on some of the usual Disney fan sites that multiple unexplained closures have been witnessed today on other rides in both parks as well. Can anyone in the parks confirm or deny?
  2. Okay, somebody has to be the first to complain... It looked like it went through the last few turns and into the final brake run kind of slowly. I'm sure the pace will pick up once it breaks in though. I'll be looking forward to riding this some time in May.
  3. It can't be done yet. There's still no washing machine element.
  4. I'm not the power player that many of you are, but I'm dropping off a dozen or so eggs in the towns of those that are most active in this thread on a fairly regular basis since getting my license. I'm too lazy to have a signature pattern. I just leave random messes of eggs in open areas. Thanks to those that have left eggs for me.
  5. I'm glad that someone rides Screaming Squirrels so that I don't have to.
  6. Robb, how much do you think the fact it was an overcast day played into how the video looked? I just thought it looked kind of dull and faded. It didn't have that clear "pop" that most of your regular videos have.
  7. The visual quality of the video was just mediocre. Far better than much of the garbage on youtube, but clearly not up to TPR's normal standard. I much prefer your mounted videos.
  8. I'm sure it was probably posted somewhere, but what is the price tag on this ride?
  9. I'm going to get myself all studied up on how this whole snakes and eggs deal works and start into it. I just got the update last night and was too tired to spend any time messing with it. For the record, I will not take anything from anyone's Springfield and I will leave whatever gifts I'm able to. I would certainly appreciate the same in return. Thanks in advance.
  10. Personally, I think the best spot to watch WOC is on your computer at home by way of a youtube video. I suffered through about 1/2 of it last Saturday evening. I don't intend to ever watch it again. Carsland, on the other hand, was great. We really enjoyed Luigi's Flying Tires. My wife and I got the leaning-to-move thing down very quickly and ended up being able to zoom all around the ride surface. We got up so much speed that when we ran into another flying tire with an unsuspecting pilot, we nearly knocked her off her seat. I haven't had so much fun on such a simple ride in a long time. The wait was a bit brutal though, so you'll have to play that one by ear depending on the queue length. We took a little break after the flying tires and never got around to riding Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, but it also looked like a fun ride. I'll make it a point to ride it next time we're there. I'd add the swinging gondolas on Mickey's Fun Wheel and Monster's Inc to your ride list if you can make time for them. The wait is rarely very long for Monsters and the Fun Wheel is a really cool ride experience. One of the things I really liked about the addition of Carsland, besides how extremely well done it is, is how you now have pathways that allow you to get from the Montery Bay area to Tower of Terror, and vice versa, by way of the backside of a Bug's Land. Having the dead end at ToT before was kind of a bummer.
  11. We nearly always do a single day at Knott's when we're doing multiple days at Disney. I'd imagine that's typical for many DLR visitors. The whole family really likes the park.
  12. Colossos looks like the type of ride I'd really enjoy.
  13. I think those are the same kids that I saw queue jumping the last time I was at a Six Flags park.
  14. While it IS funny - I do want to say that I hope the person isn't a TPR member... here's why - these kinds of jokes and humor are fine on TPR, because that's what TPR is all about, but I honestly don't think it's appropriate to write that on an official park page. TPR humor belongs on TPR - Meaning on the website, forum, our FB page, a TPR event, etc.... the same jokes don't always carry over to other places, and it may come off as insulting or obnoxious. Thanks for hearing me out! --Robb In all fairness, he did call the coaster its real name.
  15. Matterhorn Bobsleds yesterday. I actually thought the new trains were alright.
  16. What second half? The second half of the ride doesn't exist. My understanding is that if anyone attending WCB refers to YoloCoaster by that other name they will be escorted to the park exit and permanently banned from attending any future TPR events. At least I thought that's what I heard.
  17. Grizzly needs the G&M treatment. (Gasoline and matches)
  18. You could be napping in the station while seated in the train, have the ride dispatch, run the course, and likely still not be awakened.
