  1. Talking Smack... you are so full of it. First there is only one alpine coaster in this country I haven't ridden, there are at least 4 that you haven't. And actually 'Mikey' is passing you up for the most part. And I will post the list in a short time, but you will have to develop a taste for crow! Last but not least your last credit in Corona park is a relocate from Jeepers in Southfield. You need to do your homework or are Relocates valid as New Coasters. Peace JC
  2. So Big Mike What about the coasters you were unable to ride? And how can you be first? I have fewer left to ride then you, and I also have ridden several coasters you were not allowed to ride. Would you like a complete list? Peace JC
  3. Thanks Ryan and Elissa for the heads up....... can't wait. Hi Ryan and Bill I have been working my ass off, the month of September was so buzy, I hardly got a chance to breath. IE: that's why I wasn't on the China trip... bummer. Things a bit slower now, doing 'Moby Dick' with the Opera, and a couple of industrials. What trips do you hope to do in 2013? Peace JC
  4. Any word on the 2013 trip details yet? Peace JC
  5. We got the changeovers done faster, so the interludes are shorter, interludes are scene changes with music running, IE Not an Intermission. English....... NO. German...... Ya Peace JC
  6. ^"I will be seeing that in the third cycle (Two weeks from yesterday on...)" Well we have some good news Gotterdammerung is now down to 5hrs 5min. This is great, I hope you enjoy it. BTW: We do a thing called a 'Curtain Up Dress Rehearsal' and if you would like, I have a pass for the dress rehearsal of Das Rheingold on the 10th @ 7pm and one for Die Walkure on the 11th @ 6pm. If you would like one or both you are more then welcome to them, if you need 2, this can be arranged with advanced notice. What is a "Curtain Up Dress Rehearsal", The front curtain is flown out during set changes, this transition can be very enlightening for someone with little or a lot of back stage experience. The set's for this show are huge and seeing the changes live is quite amazing..... Peace JC
  7. First you have to start somewhere..... When I was in my 20's, I had only been to Oregon, Washington and California. It was when I started touring that I did most of the traveling around the world. So don't feel 'pathetic' because you haven't traveled a lot yet, you still have plenty of time. Maybe a few TPR Trips will help your country count. Peace JC
  8. First for me to count a country, I have to ride a coaster, stay the night or do a show (did a lot of touring in my middle years). So on with the list: In No particular order....... USA - All 50 States Canada (All except Yukon, NW Territories, and Nunavut). England Wales Scotland Ireland Denmark Finland Germany (East & West) Czech Republic Hungary Russia Argentina Brazil Chile Mexico Tunisia Turkey Israel Sweden Norway The Netherlands Belgium France Italy Spain Portugal Poland Romania Brunei Austria Australia New Zealand Bulgaria India Thailand Indonesia Malaysia Singapore Philippines Japan South Korea China Taiwan Hong Kong Macau Switzerland Well thats all I can remember for now..... Peace JC
  9. Just found this thread on Musicals, read the whole thing. One Comment to the person that seemed embarrassed to admit seeing Wicked 17+ times. We (Local 16, San Francisco) built Wicked for Broadway, and if you saw that performance you would find a much more political story line that ran a full 90 min. longer then the current version. I saw PTO 23 times and worked it 147 times.... and yes I still like it. PTO Las Vegas is awful. In my Humble opinion. As for me... Theatre supports my Roller Coaster Habit. I've been involved in Theatre for over 40 years and one day I'll post my show list. I'm currently working on The Ring of Nibelung for the SF Opera. We have been in Tech Rehearsals for about a month and in two weeks, we start the Complete Ring Cycle for 3 weeks in a row. Of course I'll be in Japan then.... Weeeeeeeee. For those who are unfamiliar with the Ring, it is four very long operas presented in one week. Das Rheingold, 2hrs 35min, No intermission/interval Die Walkure, 4hrs 30min, 2 intermissions Siegfried, 4hrs 50min, 2 intermissions Gotterdammerung, 5hrs 15min, 2 intermissions. Peace JC
  10. I have to agree with 'chadster' in that... Magic Springs could also use another signature coaster and a few more flats. IMO, it's probably one the MOST UNDERRATED parks in the country. What a beautiful location! A Good Selection of Coasters. and Great People... Peace JC
