I don't know, the $8 snack box I had to buy was crap. But I've only flown AA on shorter flights. Long haul inter-continental would probably have better food. you get free food and drinks (even alcoholic) on longh haul inter-continental flights. it probably even depends on from where you depart. in munich or frankfurt/main for example, most of the airlines are catered by "lufthansa sky chefs" especially the star-alliance members.

i´ve flown AA several times from FRA to MIA. they´ve the lowest fares, a friendly service and like hyyyper said before, the food is much better than the one served @ delta or united. one more importend thing is: the economy is more spacious than many other airlines. that´s a big bonus if you´re a tall person like me (1,95m = 6.4 ft).

...believe me, even if the porsche is the perfect fun machine, you won´t change the ducati for a car on a sunny spring-day! so, come over to germany and you can find out by yourself!

in my opinion, benjamin button and the dark knight really deserve the nominations. but the one thing, that i can´t understand is the nomination for "the baader-meinhof-komplex". even if that´s about an important part in younger german history, this film is boring and the actors were more than dissapointing. i hope that "presto" will win the race in the categorie "short film, animated" and wall-e will make it at least in animated feature film!

just went trough the forum-index, starting with the last page, and found this topic. while nobody posted here for nearly 4 (!!!) years, i thought it would be nice to restart this topic, because summer will come again soon and nearly every biker here in europe can´t wait to get his baby back on the road. even if i can´t spend so much time with my motorbike as i would like to, i enjoy every second i am able to ride it. i life near the bavarian forest and it just takes me about 1 hour to the nicest routes in the bavarian and austrian alps. my first bike was a honda shadow 600 when i was 18, then i drove a cbr 650 for 8 years, but since last year, i own a ducati monster 696. i´m so happy with this bike, can´t wait for the first sun-rays and dry streets.

just returned from munich, where you have to pay 1,19 euro/liter. here in my hometown the liter is 1,16 euro.
