Ever heard the entire company story? Doubtful that money would make them talk, especially as long as Esther's still around... and the next in line (Lindsey, 23) is pretty in line with her when it comes to history and what not. But who knows... I personally wouldn't like to see In-N-Out @ SFMM or any amusement park for that matter...

They need a better website. That thing hasn't been touched since it was created ages ago. Here's an email I got back from their EVP back in May of 2003. Image he included... -

Ummm. yeah, no. It's Japan. They don't want to open it back up because it's bad luck. They are VERY superstitious. ie MGM Grand.... -
So my fiance just called me up on the way to work... "Why didn't you tell me about the Six Flags thing on Wednesday?" mind goes blank... thinks of TPR, Westcoaster... nothing comes to mind. Ummm, what? Apparantly SFMM is having their third annual Thanksgiving Food Drive on Wednesday November 23 from 10-6, and anyone who brings in a bag full of non-perishable foods gets in free. She wants to go. I'm cringing at the thought of the crowds. Although it is a Wednesday. But schools out. Anyone go here the past two years? Is it one admission per bag or up to x amount of peeps?

Hey guys, I have a contest going over at my site called Park Wars. If you have any questions or suggestions about Park Wars please post them here. Here is a brief about Park Wars. Most of you from NE probably already know most of the rules. But if I forget anything below please just ask. Thanks. 01. Each team will select from a 128x128 or 256x256 workbench provided by me. (You can also create your own) 02. Once with the workbench you will start building your park adding rides, shops, rollercoasters, ect. 03. Make sure to follow the point system that I will be giving out. Do not exceed your points or that year will be a DQ and you will have to wait to re-release your park the following year. 04. Each year will be approx: 2-4 Weeks. You will be given a deadline to send your park to me. 05. When sending your park to me please include a NotePad file of your points and what you have bought with yours points. (Makes things move alot quickly) You can also include a readme with any information on your park that you might want the downloaded to know, that is optional. 06. Once I recieve all the parks I will release them and put up the awards for (EX: Tallest, Fastest, Longest Rollercoaster). Most of the awards will be user voted (EX: Best Amusement Park, Best Steel Coaster, Best Wooden Coaster, ect.) 07. Once all voting has been taken place all teams will be give the pts for the awards. Once all teams have there Pts I will hand out a new deadline date. All deadlines will be the exact length. EX: 4 Weeks If you have any other questions please ask them. The website is http://www.parkwars.fulleffectdesigns.com and the forums are at http://fulleffectdesigns.com/forums/

Dunno if this is not ok to do this or not (sorry if it isn't) but Allison and I will be visiting the DLR tomorrow and was wondering if anyone else will be there from the boards? We're riding our bikes there for a change, starting out over at Fetterly(sp?) park in Yorba Linda and taking it all the way to Katella (where the Arrowhead Pond is, there's a trail that goes really from the golf course next to the 91 between YL and Corona to past the pond) and biking the street up to the park. Anyone know if there's bike parking around the resort?

Scion Night @ SFMW 9/9
GoldRusheROCKS replied to GoldRusheROCKS's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They also have a Scion night during Knott's Scary Farm... but the park is still open to the public (while SFMW is closed). And for the SFMW event, we park inside the actual park, lol. -
So ya, this Friday from 4-10PM the park is closed to the public for their second annual Scion Night. Last year they got 643, this year they're expecting nearly 1000 (maybe less now since gas...). I t's free to get in if you own a Scion (and drive it in) for up to FIVE peeps (you and four others). Or, if you don't own a Scion (I own two... Thunder Cloud Metallic xB; silver, and a Polar White xA), you can go test drive one and they'll give you a ticket or something... don't really know. I got a caravan of about 25 or so round up to travel up for the day, leaving at like 8AM to get there by 4. Should be rad... never gone before.

Here's my park... been on the backburner for a bit.... expected to be complete by October for a special Scary Farm version... Screens of the new rapids ride should come by Monday. Eat. It. Up.[/img]
