The Buddy Thread ***BUDDY IS HERE!!!***
Louise replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Ahh, Wally he's gorgeous! Are he and Gavin getting along ok? I sometimes look after a friend's Weimeraner, similar size and temperament to Pointers, and I always used to worry about taking to him to my mate's house because of her kids. Not because he'd hurt them, but just because he has so much energy and wants to play all the time, i always worry he'll knock them down or push them into something. He really is beautiful. Is he intelligent? The Weimeraner in question is loving, sweet, and fun, but without doubt the stupidest creature I've ever had the experience of meeting. I believe Pointers are more intelligent though? -
^^ Hey Mike, did the picture blur because you were moving, or do you have six fingers on your right hand?

New topic from a Newbie :br
Louise replied to ArrowDynamics=Yakkitori C's topic in Random, Random, Random
What poll? This should really be on the Theme Parks, Rollercoasters, etc board... Elissa will probably move it when she has chance. Welcome to the site. -
And wow, three of us really need to find better things to do with our time! Watch out for a severe drop in my numbers as of January 30th when I head back to Uni.... Damn it.

Sea World's Next Big Attraction?
Louise replied to BrilliantMagic2006's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ My brain hasn't been addled quite enough to get that one confused Jarvis. -
^^ Yes Erik, I believe that's true. Most likely because it has around 17 (?) cases, which means for somebody who speaks, for example, English, which doesn't have a case system, to learn and remember them all is near impossible. I got confused just studying the structure of languages such as Finnish and Hungarian for a couple of weeks, never mind trying to actually learn to speak them!

^ LOL! It's not the lack of sleep, it's the exam revision and number of weird threads here that are messing with my brain! -
Sea World's Next Big Attraction?
Louise replied to BrilliantMagic2006's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Aren't Sea World in the process of planning a new coaster? I'm sure I read that somewhere over the last couple of days.... Maybe Erik's latest TR? My memory's getting worse. -
Umm, why not just keep an eye on this thread, it's still pretty popular: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21060 It was only about 20 threads down, bump it to the top and post in there and you should get some current replies.

I'm starting to get annoyed with my so-called best friend. In all the years I've known him, to my knowledge he's never lied to me or kept any big secrets from me, we've always been brutally honest with each other, even when the truth hurts, and we tell each other pretty much everything. But the last few months, his behaviour's been a little odd, and a few times since December I've caught him out in a lie. He's erratic, unpredictable, and there are rumours flying all over the place that he has some kind of drug problem... I've sat him down and asked him about it, and he looked me in the eye and said no, everything was fine, and i believed him. But as time's going on I'm beginning to think there must be something going on for his manner to have changed this much. I'm hoping it hasn't got anything to do with me, our friendship's gone through a few changes lately. Now, after having barely spoken to me in a week, he's suddenly on the phone every half an hour, wanting to see me. And now I feel like a bad friend because I refused to go up and spend time with him, but I've been working on assignments all day, I feel like crap, I'm already ready for bed, and it's gone midnight, no way am I phoning a taxi and getting dressed just to go up there and be lied to and treated like crap. I am not a doormat. Maybe I should go though.... I hate this.

^ I'm not sure we call her unlucky as much as we call her insane. I struggle to put up with Jewseph for 10 minutes on AIM,, never mind however many years in person.... Just kiddin' Rekjavik.

^ If we're playing that game, Robb doesn't have enough bandwidth for me. I've been off for Christmas break for almost a month and done no work. So now I have three assignments to do by Monday, plus I have four major exams next week, which count as 25% of my degree. And I'm working 9-6 wednesday through friday, taking up valuable study time.... Why do I always have to procrastinate so much over everything?
-
^ If she tracks what he looks at on the web, I think he'll get worse treatment than just being disowned....

Happy birthday Robb! Have a good one.

^ I've seen that photo several times before but it still makes me go green!

Mythos is the IOA restaurant. allears.net have menus, although the most recent is from October. The prices will be fairly consistent though I would have thought. http://allearsnet.com/uni/menu/men_myth.htm I believe Erik Johnson photographed Mythos's menu in his recent IOA/Sea World PTR over on the donkey board too.

^ Did you have fun? You survived then?

Just out of interest, did anybody else already know how to do that?! ^^

Taiko No Tatsujin (Drum Game) Smilies?
Louise replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
I really like our original smilies and would be kinda upset to lose them. Despite having ranted on in chat last night that I really didn't like the new ones, in a smaller size I LOVE them! I think the little ones are really cute, but they are kinda hard to see, but the 23 x 23 ones are PERFECT! If we had the mid-sized ones, plus a couple of bigger ones for emphasis, and the original yellow ones, I'd be well chuffed! I love the mid-sized one that's kinda licking its lips, that's my new favourite! Gotta love this one too: Wes, you do good work! (We soooo need to stop ing his now...) Question: why when I click on an emoticon to add it (I usually type mine in manually but not exactly used to the new codes yet) does the cursor move back to before the emoticon? Did it do this with the yellow ones and I just never noticed because I'm so used to typing them in? :? -
Mike, i didn't get off my butt and take that pic of my baby, it's an old one from a couple months ago, I just found it on the computer while trying to free up some disk space! *adopts Joey Tribbiani voice* "How YOU doin'?!" Wow my hair needs cutting. =0\

Delightful! Thank you so much for sharing! Hey Wes, where's the vomiting smiley of doom....?
