Sorry filled up the attachments, here's more yup just about 2am, we are tired YEAH ALBUQUERQUE, nothing like driving through nothing then coming across a big city Even the baby is ready to be out of the car HEY LOOK GEORGE LOPEZ, well at least were almost home but a very cool sunset There were storms on the way home, and 120 degree temps here's a "after picture", can you tell were very hot and tired Thanks for alot of fun SFMM

Well we are back, and we had quite a journey. Overall Magic Mountian was fun, but really hot We brought the stroller and are VERY glad we did, the ones at six flags would not have worked at all We left on July 13th at 7am and planned to be in Long Beach at my brothers house around 9pm, ah but the tire gods had other plans, we got a flat in the middle of the desert, no cell signal, perfect Well we unpacked the trunk and put on the emergency spare and drove slowly to Kingman, Arizona, which was like 100 miles away, we were "lucky" they had a Walmart with a tire center We move all of our stuff from the trunk to the backseat, load up the kids on a cart and head inside the store. I check the car in, and am told we are the next to go in, so it should be about 45minutes, I then ask for the tire on sale for $37 We go inside walmart and walk around for awhile and about 45min later hear our name being called overhead, I head back overthere and am told the "mechanic" canot find my car, I then point them to the car closest to the garage door, yes it was the very first car, about 12 feet from the door, and the only car like it in the lot, concerns are rising in my brain We spend another hour wondering around walmart untill finally I walk back to find a diffrent person behind the counter and a HUGE line. My car is done so I wait in line for 45minutes, when I finally get up there, they cannot find my ticket, and the lady asks if I remembered to leave the key, OK at this point I am livid, I try to tell her it is the second one hanging on the wall, I can see my key, but she does not listen and goes and gets the manager, I was right the other lady rewrote the tag, FINALLy I'm wrung up, and it comes to $97 WTF!!!!!!!!!, I ask why its so high, the lady asks if I remembered that there are taxes?, I calmly reply that I doubt the taxes would add up to $50 Well instead of putting the sale tire on, they put on the most expensive tire they had in stock, a Goodyear touring VR tire, nice, but I asked for the cheap tire not the $70 tire I end up waiting another 30 minutes and I finally get the tire for $37 and we leave without hesitation AVOID THE KINGMAN WALMART Anyway, the rest of the trip there went without incident, ecept traffic in L.A., at midnight, WOOHOO SoCal We make our way to the park on the 17th, of course traffic is horrible and we end up getting there at around 10:30am. As soon as we get out of the car, we know its going to be hot, supposed to of gotten up to 96, or 36C We walk in using our 2 for 1 coke cans and quickly head for Revolution, we take a quick ride on that and head back to the main entrance Robb called and said he would be able to come down and meet, very cool, both Elissa and Robb arrived and we went right to Collosus, then Scream, and finally Batman, very cool. I know they were very VERY busy, so thanks again, it was way cool meeting you guys, and I appreciate you taking the time to come down, oh and thatnks for the fast trip to Goliath. After Robb and Elissa left we went to the Mooseburger Lodge, where my mom had chicken with feathers and a ballon man came, and was actually alot of fun After that we went and rode Viper, Ninja, and finished with Goliath, we were VERY hot and tired, so we left. Its was a very fun day at SFMM, and meeting the Alveys was way cool, but it was also misrably hot, and when we left we stopped and I got and drank a litre bottle of Gatoraid Well the trip home was much more boring, except for the fact that it was like 120, or 48.8C, yeah hot, we took it slow, and madeit home at around 2am Chris anyway here's alot of pics Alright, after eating we went on Viper ....but TJ was less thrilled with his monkey Audri really enjoyed her rose Balloon man came, and was actually alot of fun YUM, look chicken, and it still has feathers to sit by a mooses ass We waited about 40 minutes After Robb and Elissa left, it was time to eat Thanks again for taking time out of your VERY busy day to come and ride a few rides, thanks for the fast trip on Goliath Robb and Elissa arrived and we went on Collosus, Scream, and Batman Started with a quick ride on Revolution Even the Baby is fine with the temp, for now We live in Albuquerque, we can take the heat As soon as we stepped out of the car, my brother realised it was hot WE MADE IT, wow those coasters are big Ahhhhh, socal traffic Not sure if this is a general warning for California, or just the building its attached to We took your guys advice and brought the stroller, it barley fits in my little car

Guys' short, but informative Lakeside TR!
crispy replied to Guy T. Koepp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Lakeside looks like a cool park, its funny cause people here only talk about SFEG, and when I mention Lakeside, they usually say "Where's That?" I want to get to both Denver parks, but looks like it will be next year, its difficult to travel with a young baby, and unless there is a better reason that just visiting parks, my wife won't want to go, cause of the baby Anyway, I'll proabably be able to get over there in 2006, maybe, we will see -
try living in the bay area, wher I made $40,000, my wife made $40,000, and we had to have a roome\ate to aford the rent on a small three bedroom house the same house I bought in Albuquerque for $85,000, is $667,000 The taxes are higher, gas and electric is double and close to triple what I pay, gasoline cost more, roads are worse, schools are worse, car fees are triple, traffic is infintaly worse, especially in L.A., where I at right now, Only in LA can you have a stop back up at midnight, nice nope, Cali blows, its mismanaged, and while with the resurces of the state it should be leading the union, it is near the bottom., it has nothing to do with the parks in Cali, just living, and being ablw to provide for your family And as for jobs, like Robb, My x roomate is a recuirter, and he finds highly qualified people to work in Cali, like Robb, My friend, Oscar, get paid VERY well to do this, and business is booming, so There are paople who gat great deals at a job, live in Cali just to get paid My mom said something very smart the other day" you guys did something very wise for your family, you left California"

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
crispy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think steel, because of the 90 degree banking, and the fact that it can withstand those forces better RCDB says it only going to cost 6.5 million, that is a deal for a coaster like this DAMMIT, HW is like 1300 miles away, that would be quite a road trip -
Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
crispy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
 WOW, this could end up being one of the best coasters ever, we will see, but I HAVE to get to Holiday to ride it, as well as the other two great coasters they have there, good lord! -
I love the back, you get some great airtime
-
Well there is no emissions check at all, well where I live, in the actual city of Albuquerque there is and I think its about $20, but in Rio Rancho, no emmisions California had all there emmision centers redone, so emmisions there are a bit expensive, last one I got was around $50
-
This is totally for me, and obviously the most important question ever posted in the "ask Alvey" forum, but I was wondering which seat did you like best on the NM Rattler, For me its the back, but I have heard some people perfer the front just wondering chris

yeah, spent a weekend in Lancaster, and I agree The only redeemable qaulity about Cali is the mild weather The advantage to New Mexico, is Mild weather (hottest its ever been in recorded history in Albuquerque is 107), no "set in" major disasters, ca-earthquakes, east coast- snow and noreasters, south- hurricains, midwest- tornado's we just don't really get any of that here, it snows a tiny amount, in summer it will stay about 85-95 degrees, and the worst thing you deal with is 35mph wind blowing sand in your eyes, thats about it It really suprises me that they were saying they neede the tripling of the registration fee to fully fund the Fire Dept, uh there is over 30,000,000 people in Cali, is has like the 5th best economy in the world, where is all that money California really is horribly mismanaged, and its not a Republican (pete wilson), or democrat (gray davis) thing, both those goveners did suck, and did horrible jobs, they should both be publicly executed, I've seen a little good fron the govenator, but we wil see. another thing that is cheaper, just to let you know what a great job grey davis did with the energy crisis, our energy bill(gas&electric) went from over $200 a month to about $70, Gasoline is cheaper, cause the smarties in the goverment there require a custom gasoline mix, we have ethonol in the gas here, but its a standard mix, not good enough for Cali, so you guys pay extra Don't get me started on housing, Our 85,000 home would be about 700,000 in Sanat Cruz UGGGGHHHHHH, I'm glad I'm gone Cali is a big huge money pit of a state
-
 well that puts it in perspective i just remember al the goverment people who were bitching in Cali cause Gov arnold repealed the tripling of the registration fee's so instead of $187 it would be $561, a year
-
I could of gotten two years, but wanted to save the $ for our trip
-
The bill for my registration from Ca. was $187, I just paid to get my car registered WITH PLATES, in New Mexico, inspection and everything it came to $48, man am I glad i left
