  1. I am crossing my fingers for the TPR Water challenge on Montezooma's Revenge... Also crossing my fingers for ERT on Drop of Doom and Superman at MM..
  2. So here is my idea of an out place coaster. Quite honestly because I miss it based on where it used to be. Anyone got a guess? Image borrowed from the RCDB..
  3. Hey does anyone know what Disney does that time of year??? We want to so California's Great America and Discovery Kingdom but they have gone into weekend mode by then, so we will have to do the following weekend. But Neither Disney or Universal Studios has published their hours for that time of year.
  4. My guess is the New Ignite the Night show is the show from the now Defunct Cebration City wich means they will be projecting video on to fountain plumes as well as some of the laser effects if that give you any ideas.
  5. Georgia Cyclone. I think my back has hurt ever since. Made me want to miss the water challenge.
  6. According to Six Flags St Louis it won't be ready opening day and they can't say wether or not it will be getting new trains.
  7. I think Robb is right about the front seat in the back car on arrow, I also find this to be true ALOT of other coasters. For instance this summer at Great Adventure the ride ops kept telling all the TPR people to ride in this postion. I think it has alot to do with the manuafcturer and maintenance..
  8. So does the fly through the lift hill.
  9. My first looper was Scream Roller at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City the year it opened.
  10. I voted for the Coaster Expedition for a odd reason. I know I have mentioned this before, but when trying to get my non-coaster friends excited and wanting to go to a park with me they respond so much better to the videos with a sound track. If I play a "raw" video they are done with it within the first 30 seconds and my attempt to get them to go is totally lost.
  11. Whats sad is I feel they let these rides become "maintnence nightmares". Quite honestly I loved riding both of them this summer, but I love the Vekoma flyer better htna then the B&M. But it doesn't seem to me KI has problems with firehawk. Also I don't beileve that KD or KI has problems with Flight of fear which is a similar spaghetti bowl. I just don't think SF likes to spend money to properly rehab the rides every season like they are supposed to, unlesss you are MM.
  12. Last time we rode it it broke the camera stowed in a cargo pocket it was so rough... Don't forget they also have the chunk of land where SOB was.. My hope would be for a Really killer Gravity Group, RMC, or Intamin woodie here and a intamin giga like 305. I loved Leviathan, but I loved 305 that much more.
  13. Just keep in mind a couple things too from thier standpoint. 1. The marketing materials really make it look cooler than it is. The angle of the photo makes it look cool and thats all that counts year one. 2. Makreting again, they are marketing that they have solidified thier position as the roller coaster capitol of MO. I think Boooomerang is a bad choice, the name especially. With any luck they will get the new trains with the new restraints and put it together right and it will run like the Carolina Cobra at least for 3 to 4 years. In reailty I wish they had spent the money to rehab the park not put the third coockie cutter coaster in a row in. But it is what it is, and I did buy passes for 2013.
  14. Outlaw run defintely for me. What I like is the most, it's a short drive for me so it will be all trhe otlaw I want to ride.
  15. Yeah but the new new trains don't bloody your ears like the old trains. The new restrint system makes for a much mor comfortable ride. The guy that came up with the big foam ear pads needs to be beat from head to toe.
  16. I am still anxiously awaiting for the exculsive opportunity to be announced.. Been watching both forums.. lol
  17. ^^^ Not fun in a storm. Especially when the tornado sirens are going off and there is no way to abort the ride. Been there/Done that earlier this year. What is scary is the employees had no clue where to tell guests to go for safety.
  18. For me this is easy, 14 parks in 18 days and West Coast Bash. Everything about WCB except for Allegiant air flying out at 6:30 am on Monday. X2, TATSU, Goliath, and so on at MM Sitting in the Miantenece Ball Knotts, Xcelerator, Montezumas Revenge, and more. Loved going back Canadas Wonderland. This time not having to run from bathroom to bathroom using the hand dryers to keep warm. Loved Levitathan and the insane ERT. Behemoth ranked highly as well. The park staff was awesome, probably one of the frendliest parks I have EVER been to. After all we ended up with Credit Whore ERT lol. Water challenge was a blast. Met alot great TPR people. Also Jack Hammer, I normally hate rides like this but it was alot of fun. Especially watching the kids we set with cry.. LOL The shotgun stop at Knobels and getting there :30 before closing with a big can of Red Bull and making the run to the back of the park on our way the Hershey from Darien Lake. Hershey Park! Need I say more. Wish we had been able to ride Sky Rush a second time, and see if I coukd have made it less painful. Six Flags Great Adventure. ROLLBACK on Kingda Ka sitting in the second row, probably the single most awesome thing this summer. El Torro, hanging out with TPR and the two bouts of rain sending everyone home. Dorney park, hated HYDRA, but happy to have ridden aother featured ride from Insane Coaster Wars. I know this sounds dumb but riding Steel Force (Mamba at WOF brother) East Coast Bash, I-305! Gentlemen start your engines!!! Griffon Griffon Griffon. I love me a B&M Dive Machine. Verbolten. A lights on ride on Flight of Fear. Six Flags America - Batwing (One Vekoma thats really Killer), Jokers Jinx, Pengins Blizzard river. Carowinds, finally riding a Bomerang that doesn't suck tota a$$. Dolywood and Mystry Mine, dont forget. Fire in the hole! (I know thats SDC but they said it, I didn't.) Some really good food. Lake Winnie and the really awesome scary planes and the water flume. (Hey Rob, thanks for this tidbit. Finally Six Flags over GA. Really had fun here. Was sad it was the end of the Vacation. Mind Bender, Daredevil Dive, and Goliath. Thankfully no Wheelie (sorry Tyler). Finally watching the construction of Outlaw Run.
  19. FIXED! Hey, you can tell me that you werent excited to find out they were builing it, it was gonna be tall, fast, and have a loop. Granted most people hated it after they rode it but still it was like no other. I think we waited in line for three hours to ride it the first time and were exicted to do it becuse history was being made. Just like here. Even if outlaaw run sucks, most are still excited about it
  20. I am actually more excited about this this ride than I was Son of Beast.
  21. Well if you were expecting for them to be anything like X2, I could of told you that you'd be disappointed. Nope, But I was expecting something more thrilling, to put in my top 25 list. But the roll back on Kingda Ka put it at the top of my #1 all time faves list..
  22. Most overrated, I would have to say both B&M wingriders I rode. After having ridden X2, I was quite bored with both X Flight and Wild Eagle. Everything else I rode was pretty on par except for Intimidor at Carowinds, (but it wasn't new this year) it kind of sucked, too much trimming, and rough. Diamondback 10 times the coaster.. I know I am off subject.
