  1. Anyone know why the Park does not operate this unique coaster.? When was the last time it worked and what is it like to ride..?
  2. Does anyone have some recent pictures (post 2002+) of this coaster SBNO...? Would people be happy if this coaster was re-created using it's "blueprints" if a park wanted to have it...? How did it ride, was it rough..?
  3. If this is a ACE Coaster it should be saved, why can't all the members of the group save some money (fund rasing etc) to buy the coaster from the park. Have it re-tracked, give it some NAD Trains, paint it White and put in a park which will look after it. It would be so sad for this Classic Coaster to go to same way as the Wildcat at Idora Park or "Big Dipper" at Chippewa Lake Park.
  4. I hate Football as it is over-rated and the players are not worth 30 million pounds, the Ref's make stupid decisions and they don't put the replay's on the big video screen (they do in rugby) incase someone can see what really happened. I would rather spend 2 weeks visiting Theme Parks and getting Much more fun
  5. Everyone is GAY, just in Denial
  6. What are these trains like to ride in, are they quite rough or are they smooth like PTC trains...? Could NAD trains be used on say "Timber Wolf" or "Raven" type of coaster layout. They do look quite wonderful and I would use this type of train if I owned a Coaster. What remaining coasters use these trains today..?
  7. Can someone explain what "program settings" Topspins have: e.g. 1-4 or 1-6 1= A gentle ride 4/6 = Spin n def "puke" Extreme setting We can ask the "Operators" to change the program setting to our liking when we ride the Topspins.
  8. Not many UK Coasters offer as it seems we are not allowed to have it in this country. The only coasters which make you airborne are: Wild Mouse: at Blackpool on the double camelhumps Megaphobia: 1st drop in the back seat (your be standing up) Grand National: On it's many drops, but it's more rough then proper The coasters at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures "do not" give you anywhere on the trains.
  9. Wood: Colossos at Heidi Park Every hill is Steel: Goliath at Walibi World, all 4 bunny hops. the 2nd one is the most extreme
  10. It is sad it has to close and a ton of houses built in it's place, but the Park has no good rides to offer to anyone.
  11. My Fav Vekoma coaster is "Robin Hood" ( A Woodie) at Walibi World, it has on most seats, the back is the best
  12. I love the "Wild Mouse" at BPB, I wish it was higher and had move camelhumps so you had more time to bounce down the drops. Strange how "Theme Park Review" has gone to the UK and the "European Coaster Club" has gone to the USA for their trips.
  13. I am going back to "Plopsaland" in Belgium in a few weeks time as the Park installed a "Star Flyer" for the 2006 season. I don't know how high it is, looks over 100ft though I wondered if someone can tell me what they are like to ride. I don't mind riding "Chair-O-Planes". Do "Star Flyers" produce more force as they spin faster...? Does the "Up n Down" bit feel like a Drop Tower..? What's your view on them..? A Park in Germany is getting one which is over 260ft high for the 2007 season. Will a "Star Flyer" top 300ft soon...? Can you add your pictures of "Star Flyers" to this Post.
  14. I have not been on this coaster as it is 2 far away from the UK, hope another example can be built in Europe. This looks a cool idea, if the layout was better designed it could be a winner. I use this type of coaster quite a lot on RCT3, I have it tilting into the swimming pool and go under-ground.
  15. This Coaster has some amazing theming, I bet 1/2 the cost went on Theming alone. Anyone know what happens inside the castle section...? How does the boat move when in the water...? De Efteling is my fav park for feeling like your not on Earth but somewhere else. When is it due to open as I asked one of the staff last week and he did not know. Click on : http://www.dvhe.nl/website/ and check out the video page (backstage tour inc)
  16. Schwarzkopf Coasters Brakes, so sharp you stop dead
  17. It's a Twisted version of a "Booster Bike" nothing new, if they made one which is 200ft high maybe that would be different.
  18. I was at the Park last week and there were engineers on one of the towers checking stuff, the vertical lift was going up and down. It should be open within a few weeks.
  19. Anyone got any updates on this game as it's like RC3 but for consoles.
  20. I love the Wild Mouse at Blackpool, just gotta be hands-free going down the drops. ) The worst part of the ride is at the top of the lift hill when you are slammed forward when the car is released from chain, mega back pain.
  21. Thegreatone said " Why go to White Castle when you have a Culver's less than a half-mile from SFGAm????? " That's my Surname, what type of food place is "culver's"...? How many "White Castle" burgers can you get for $5...?
  22. The trains should be replaced with "Hyper Morgan" ones, or even the trains they use on "Goliath" at Walibi World. I look at the Wheels on the coasters and sometimes they have grooves in the middle and the tyres which push the coaster train forwards look like they are going to burst as the rubber is all frayed and hanging off. Hope SD 2000 is running again as it's a shame to have it SBNO for so long.
  23. My 1st Coaster was the "Corkscrew" at Alton Towers when I was about 10 years old. I am 35 today.
