togo NL un-named yet
redunzelizer replied to jamesissoocool's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yes he did. A close inspection in the Purgatorium clearly shows the very same element, down to identical radii graphs, same overall sloping and each single microscopic(!) jerk represented. Good job Real! Bad, bad jamesissoocool... not at all cool! Too bad, I definitely can. Greetings from the 14th decimal place... -

Sorry to disappoint you, but the track you presented does not resemble any particular T*G* building style. There are lead-ind and -outs where there should *not* be any, the banking is changing all over the place, instead of being constant and occasionally showing "japanese pre-banked" transitions. Also the Manhattan Express style roll should be heartlined in opposite to yours. Don't get deceived by the fact that bad NoLimits-BT could be a way to resemble any Arrow/Vekoma/T*G*/Meisho tracks or similar. In fact it's just the other way round. For recreating just that special "feeling" of our beloved headbangers, some very detailed track and banking control will be required. Nevertheless, heads up, practice is everything! -
Quick question.
redunzelizer replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Heres what I mean, the picture below is from the NL editor and the selected node is banked at 90*. However, if you look at the track compared to the ground it seems as if you are inverting (somewhat) though you indeed are only banked 90*. I hope you understand....? You're wronk. The max. "banking" of the "track" indeed seems to be 92*, BUT: neither these three inversions nor said "Stengel Dive" seem to be included in this "banking statistic". If you only would look closer at the pic(s). It's all there & obvious! (hint: how about that support holding up this element at the apex?) -

Yep, Cedar Fair buying ot SF! Wouldn't "Lotte Dot Magic Mountain" sound great? Like having "Tatsu Splash Battle", "Gold Washer" as well as "Spiller's Revenge", "Wetman The Ride" and most important: "Drown!". After denying you that well deserved Aquatrax at CP, they definitely should do something about that... -

They certainly will utilize the very same Intamin Foam Brakes that already have been seen on EGF, which are totally inert to power outage by nature. -

Just in case you had any of these "desktop enhancer gimmicks" installed, these might mess up your font settings too, overriding the control panel then. -

You may want to change the font size of your display back to default. It is on default. What "default"? Obviously it *not* seems to be. From the difference in size of these "black holes", where the input actually should be, and the misplaced input fields, which are too large in relations to said black holes, you could see just that. This problem has been encountered before, just because of font size issues. -

How is that off topic? This is a CP constuction thread, I think. This *is* severly offtopic, indeed! Despite this is titled a CP constuction thread, the majority of interests focus on way more important topics. I am well aware that with any remark on bare facts, with posting construction pics, or even bluntly discussing technical aspects, I'd take the risk of seriously interrupting the ongoing flow. There are moments where a pic like this might be even taken as offensive and insulting. With now 217 pages, there are approximaly 200 pages of essential comments on life, and only about 10-20 actually related to some boring CP stuff. These numbers must speak for themselves. Hence my humble excuse. EDIT ADD: Sorry folks, I almost forgot: -

What's about all these rumors that the old canoe station is going to become an adult book store? Someone said there could be yet another record breaking ride within that, to be promoted as "smallest ride on earth", only about 5-7 inches tall? He said that the ride had to be erected by the vistors themselves, each time they would want to take a turn on that one. Also there would be tons of brochures and flyers depicting the construction process in very detail, so even rollercoaster fanboys of appropriate age, who haven't yet experienced anything smaller than Top Thrill Dragster would be able to follow right from the beginning. Since Intamin obviously failed to recycle the canoes for their new AquaTrax, something else must be happening with it. -
