  1. ^I always loved seeing the park as I traveled by it. From the time it was built till the time it's torn down, I'll always love it.
  2. ^They're still convinced that they can get $300,000 from donations, plus numerous trucks and storage facillities. God forbid they think of something as simple as a parody of their "campaign". They act as if we're ruining the American dream or something like that.
  3. Just think of Prince Desmond when you decide to donate to the website of your choice.
  4. I wonder if you can donate $0. That would be funny if a whole bunch of people did that and checked the little box that says put my name on the wall or something like that.
  5. I hate sound cynical, but I kinda wish something will go bad with this project that will teach the two owners a lesson.. Honestly, I see them doing just as much damage to Big Dipper than if it wouldn't have gotten bought by them.
  6. ^You can't blame them for only posting what they know for sure.
  7. LOL. Their donations haven't increased from $120.
  8. They don't deserve to save a roller coaster if they can't figure it out...
  9. All Prince Desmond needs now is a YouTube channel.
  10. What the savethebigdipper.com really needs is a page dedicated to the history of the Big Dipper roller coaster, but not that of Geauga Lake's Big Dipper.
  11. How could you possible parody TPR? Wouldn't you be parodying a parody?
  12. If you would have never mentioned anything of your signature, I would have never looked at it. So, I guess it's too subtle. A company shouldn't, at all, be upset over parody sites..Their outrageous plans are why savethebigdipper.com exists today.
  13. A historic plantation, in my town, that dated back to the early 1800s was just recently leveled, and yes, it was quite sad to see a home with history torn down, but that's what the owner of the home wanted to do with their property. No one tried to save it. Would the fate of Big Dipper be as bad if the general public wouldn't know about it? The only truly sad thing is that there was NOTHING wrong with the house. Life goes on..So will the Big Dipper. Here's an idea..Value human life and not the life of an old roller coaster.
  14. ^I'm sure they can if they can arrange to borrow enough pickup trucks.
  15. The first airplane that I ever stepped foot in belonged to Southwest. It was an enjoyable flight. However, after flying with Delta Airlines, I now prefer them over Southwest.
  16. I think Six Flags New Orleans has a more likely chance of reopening over the Big Dipper being rescued and rebuilt correctly..
  17. I'm wearing the most comfortable pair of American Eagle Dorm Pants..I don't think I've ever worn more comfortable pants in my life!
  18. Hero/Heroine- Boys Like Girls
  19. I can't believe no one's mentioned the death of Gloria Stewart, Old Rose from "Titanic". She was 100-years-old when she died on Sunday.
  20. Screamscape has reported new rides coming to Kemah Boardwalk this year. www.screamscape.com/html/smaller_parks.htm#KemahBoardwalk
  21. Where's that tiki themed chute/lazy river? I don't seem to remember seeing it or riding it when I was there a few years ago. I may be in the minority, but I found the new section of Schiltterbahn a tad overrated. There was absolutely no shade other than the concession area, but it was still fun.
  22. ^That's the exact scene I was thinking of.
  23. I can't way until the day that this park is open. I'm more excited than this than the reopening of SFNO.
  24. I found Who Framed Roger Rabbit? very disturbing, yet I only watched it two or three years ago.
