  1. Well, you'd think Intain would learn from their mistakes, right? Besides, this one will be taken at a much lower speed, and will actually be a full 360* roll, not just the half roll that was supposed to be on Maverick. That thing must've produced massive lats... Also... News?
  2. OMG, this is looking extremely awesome! love the heartline roll! Also, I think that in the 3rd photo is the turn before the heartline roll! Kepp us updated, please! Kthxbye
  3. Nice! OK, that looks positively insane... I would say the airhill is about 25m high, if I compare it to the tophat. Anyway, it's less than a half of the tophats heighth. Imagine the airtime! And, yeah, I did notice the suports... Remind me of those from Jet Rescue or w/e that ride is called... Looks like Intamin picked up a new support style! Great, now I'll have to work double if I'm making an Intaimn in NL...
  4. Well, the Boomerang at prater got new trains, and it was awesome... I have been on 2 other Vekomas, and they cannot compare to the smoothness the Boomerang gave... I think the main problem with Vekomas are the trains... They are not totally fixed to the track, and they tend to jump around...
  5. I spy, with my little eyes, something beginning witha airtime! Srsly, that looks insane! BTW, where do you get all these pictures?
  6. ^Sweet, they're really going to finish the track soon if it goes at this pace... can't wait to see your pics from when you go!
  7. ^It's going to have a LSM launch, that's why they look like brakes on other Intamins... Also, why are there only 2 cars in that train? Surely it will run at least 3, right? They look pretty complete in that video, with those big wheels at the front and in the back...
  8. I just figured out how they're going to get the trains over teh tophat at only 100kph!
  9. Hmm, I don't think so... IMO it's just going to go under the lauch track, which is a little elevated, but not completely underground...
  10. I see... But why aren't they doing it eith that wooden thing, like they did it on KingdaKa? The trains are kinda expensive, for taking a risk with them...?
  11. I envy the water dummies... lol 100th post
  12. OMG, that was fast! The tophat is looking fantastic, a little smaller than I imagined it, but still fantastic. The thing that boggles me, is the train. Why is there a train on top of it? Are they testing for something allready? Wouldn't it make more sense to wait till it's finished?
  13. 5/20 Mostly guesses, lol, I have no clue about cony Island...
  14. Well, for me, I loved them, but didn't know anything about them. I was marathoning Blue Tornado (SLC) and Magic Mountain (Vekoma double loop corkscrew) like they were some uber smooth rides, and the funny thing is, I wasn't bothered at all by the roughness. But now, that I'm often reading through coaster related stuff, and my coaster knowledge has increased, i've become more aware of the things that happen to you while riding. For instance, I never noticed the airtime before, on Magic Mountain. How about you?
  15. Well, the NoLimits track we've seen some time ago isn't like the track we see here. It might've been just some mistakes, but I think the immelman thingy/overbank coud not have been mistaken that easily... Otherwise: Of course the plans were altered, they went from B&M mega, to a rocket with a 65m tophat, and now to a rocket witha 55m tophat.
  16. Wow, these pictures are amazing... As far as I can see, they've made quite a few changes to the old layout... - The hill after the tophat is lower - The bump after the first hill has been changed into an S-transition - They changed the entrance to the immelamn... Well, actually only the angle... - they replaced the immelman with an overbank - The brake is WAY longer - They took out the 2nd heartline roll As far as I could see, that's it. But, I guess some of those changes were made, so they wouldn't need the trims after the tophat, which were shown in the video... (yedah, keep telling that to yourself... :/)
  17. I still don't see the point in using a zero car at the back of the train... lol If they don't need it, why not just get rid of it?
  18. Why is there a zero car BEHIND the train?
  19. Yup, it's working! I just noticed, that some of those track pieces look pretty twisty! Yummy
  20. Gardaland had 2 coasters, that not many people know about: Prezzemolo Tour - a some kind of powered coaster Zyclone - a Schwarzkopf City Jet III I wish the Cyclone was never taken out, and I could have a ride on that one... I love how Schwarzkopfs look... Oh, also Zyclone: http://www.gardalandtamtam.com/Attrazione_pag.asp?id_attrazione=77 Prezzemolo Tour: http://www.gardalandtamtam.com/Attrazione_pag.asp?id_attrazione=124
  21. nope, they don't work.... Anyway, you can find them here: www.miraforever.com/index_.php?id=114|i ... ostruzione Select the whole link and copy it... -.-
  22. Awesome! Should be going up pretty quickly from now on...
  23. Haha, yeah, that's awesome!
