i'm sure everyone else has already posted this, but i find this REALLY, REALLY, REALLY odd that CW would add this ride. it's basically behemoth v2.0 - a B&M hyper but giga-sized with some I305 elements. in the GP's eyes, this is another behemoth essentially. should have added a B&M wing/flyer/invert instead. i'm honestly really confused by this move.

any more news on MT? are we pretty sure its going to be open to the GP this saturday 08/20? i plan on going to the park.

a custom B&M flyer back where drachen fire used to be would be AWESOME.

man, i did get served. i didn't know xcelerator was being re-painted......they should have up big signs stating this in the park.

as i was just at KBF for the first time a few weeks ago, i can definitely agree with some of the complaints about the park: -too many kiddie rides -sierra sidewinder and pony express are both way too short (although SS is pretty fun) -repaint xcelerator -plant more trees everywhere -spruce up ghostown/add a new coaster there overall, being an east coast guy, the park wasn't bad though. definitely a different feel than, say, BGW for example, lol.

any news on mach tower? this thing has GOT to open soon.

ride looks to be pretty fun, about what i expected. it's going to be interesting to see how this thing intertwines with comet, i have a feeling it's gonna be intense.

mach tower needs to hurry up and open, this is getting pretty bad. speaking of ride openings being delayed, i'm traveling to CA this week and am hitting up knotts while there.......windseeker still not open. sigh.

oh wow good find. looks like a short ride overall - leaves the existing BBW station, snakes around into some new large building (where the launch/launches are probably), and then snakes back down to the rhine before being done. hard to say for sure w/o more details, but it appears small.

no way the tower is topped off yet, despite the flag on top. it looks like it has another 100' or so to go. does anyone know the capacity of the seating ring? it looks small, i would guess like 25 people or so. i like KD's drop tower - 56 people a pop. as far as aesthetics, i think the tower looks a little clunky now, but the finished product will probably be fine. i've wanted a drop tower at BG for like 10 years, so i'm pretty much satisfied.
