Wildebeest walk back is not something that normally happens at HWN and they don't normally run the flat rides at HWN. You will have fun, and no TL's this time just gives you a reason to come back again. You will have a good time.

I imagine by the mid America trip, the Timberliners will be good to go by then.

Or how many just won't come now (the hold outs who didn't pre register). Honestly, it doesn't bug me, even though I am only 2 and half hours away. I am actually a little more happy with more ERT on Widlebeest and a few other things. I honestly have more fun sometimes running around taking pictures then I do riding. Though, this time, I know a few more people coming then before.

I wonder if they'd run it head to head with the old PTC. This is a no. The PTC's have 7 brake fins, the Timberliners have 13. IF they ran both, when the computer counted the TL's, it would sense a brake over run and e stop.

Holiday World posted an update to what happened with Pilgrims Plunge....

<----Ace member I am thinking there will be at least one timberliner going by Friday. Second one is not on site yet (but will only need 200 laps instead of 1000).

I would like to have mine changed again (haven't had it changed for a few years) to "I rode the Ravage".

Apparently a Pilgrims Plunge boat was sinking today, seen it on HW's facebook page.

Very short video I did of Ravage, lift hill segments are made faster. Part of a video I will be doing later (if I don't break my camera again at HWN).

To borrow the phrase from the flying turns, "they will be ready when they are ready". The new trains are currently making laps on the coaster. The only thing we know for sure is that the trains will not be running this weekend. Beyond that, the only people that know are the Gravity Group and Holiday World when they will be ready. Being that Fathers day is June 20th, I have the feeling you have a really good shot at them running. I honestly am expecting them to be ready for HWN (if not, not that big of deal for me).

LEgend has gone up a bunch in my ratings this year. It was almost 100% completely retracked this off season. I could re ride in back seat, and that is something I have never been able to say.

Just thinking about the many reasons why I love Holiday World so much. Not only is it a cheap park to go to, but they want to take care of thier patrons, not just get them to spend money like other parks. A few examples: *Last year at HWN, Pilgrims Plunge was not open due to broken part for ERT. Instead of just saying it isn't available, they opened up Halloswings for an hour *Holiday World also drove a motor for the lift hill for LEgend to get it fixed to have it ready for HWN Friday ERT last year *While most parks would quietly work on getting things ready, HW happily posts on Facebook and here about things and responds to questions. Not many parks would even wander near a site like TPR. *During the ACE event, since the Timberliners weren't ready, they gave everyone a free ticket to come back when they are. Not many parks would do as much for its patrons as Holiday World does. I have seen so many more people in my town wearing a Holiday World shirt then any other theme park shirt. Too bad every park couldn't take a page from HW's book.

Holiday World has posted a couple updates on Voyage and the Timberliners. First they have a testing video of the TL'ers on track. Now for the capacity issue. They have a plan B. Plan B is they are modifying A Raven Train to run on Voyage when it gets busy. I wasn't going to go on May 30th like I planned, but seeing a red Voyage Train would be cool. In other news, my coaster geekiness just showed by the train color comment.

Even with the PTC's, Voyage is runnng amazingly smooth this year (and quite frankly, I have only had a few of m 70 plus rides have been rough). If you want rough, should have rode Thunder Run at SFKK, that thing killed my back for three days.

Knowing HW, if, and I bet they will be ready, the new trains are not ready by HWN. You know Holiday World will make up for it. Due to lack of TL ready for the ACE event, they gave everyon at the event a free ticket.

Was waiting for water park to open at Holiday World and there was a family from Louisville. They have always came to Holiday World once a year, but this year they are pass holders. They had already been at the park twice this year. The kid thought T2 was SFKK best coaster.

Was at the park today for a coaster event. Along with myself and a few other coaster people was about 5k kids and the Junior Diabetes Foundation Walk. Which meant some really long lines. Wildabeest had a full que at one point. Voyage was a full que with the underground (minus the full switch backs) and all outside switch backs due to one train operations. Voyage was running awesome and was really smooth. Legend, here is a shocker, was running awesome. I mean, Raven was a tad bit rougher then LEgend but was still enjoyable. Even in the back seat! But while waiting for Legend and Raven ERT, was talking to Sean (head of coaster mat.) and he said LEgend was basically fully retracked. On the Wildabeest ride, I rode ten times total. Mostly in the back seat. The hill with the "tunnel" with it is awesome and filled with air time. In the back, there is airtime everywhere. Also, it is just cool to feel the magnets propel you uphill.

I believe that is where they went. Speaking of LEgend. I went and got my pass today and rode all three coasters. Voyage is running good (back seat). Sat in front seat of Legend and it was running amazingly smooth. Raven was running excellent also.

I don't agree, you are not going to find many amusement parks, but there is plenty of fun to be had. You have to be able to enjoy nature. The state parks are wonderful and there is plenty of fun things to do.

Can't wait to get to Holiday World on the 9th, I have missed the Voyage and can't wait to get one last ride in on ptc's. Got to get my pass then. On a unrelated note, I am probably 30 or so minutes from the former site of SFNO right now.

Nice TR, wish I could get to the park on the 29th of May, my favorite band is playing there that day. I haven't seen Steve3po yet and I hope I get to soon.

Just another thought, maybe they will keep the third so on special events, they will run both.
