And I have been waiting for a Seth Rogen movie to be good again since Superbad. Looking forward to seeing this one.

So, it has been four days now since I have been able to do anything with this awful update. I am currently on the 16th boardwalk tile which is a 36 hour build. I am about ready to call it quits. So, Animal Crossing?

What the heck is pulling that coaster up the lift hill? An 80-year old man? -

^My posts are just based around the speculation from the Screamscape report that both lands are currently being developed/proposed by WDI. I certainly don't take everything posted on Screamscape as gospel, but if the proposed Cars Land is supposedly taking over the Lights Motors Action show, I don't see how they could just put in small capacity rides to replace that. They would need to put something in that would accommodate all of the people that would of normally been watching the stunt show throughout the day. Sure, the new Stars Land will eat up a lot of people, but they will likely lose the Indiana Jones Stunt show as well which eats up a crapload of people a day. Mainly, I tend to favor a larger Cars Land because I really want a trackless ride like Ratatouille in Florida.

Aren't we talking about a planning period of several years here with both these expansions? I'm not sure why we should assume that the Cars Land expansion has to be at a smaller scale than the Star Wars one. As the parent of two toddlers, Cars merchandise is still very easy to find in stores and seems to still be very popular among children. I know the last movie didn't do nearly as well as the 2nd movie, but that has never stopped sequels from being made in the past. It definitely doesn't have to be an exact copy of Radiator Springs Racers, and most certainly not a launched coaster. I would personally love a trackless ride (like Wes suggested) but more on a major scale like Ratatouille. And then add the a themed section to go with it.

It all comes down to what Six Flags Corporate wants to do really. Do they want to invest in the Iron Horse treatment, essentially getting a "brand new" centerpiece ride for the park, or do they want to preserve the Boss and just make it ride better. You have to remember, outside of the St. Louis area, not many people have the nostalgia for the Boss like the long-time season pass holders do. To me, as an outside observer, there really isn't anything special about the layout of the Boss and thus isn't a ride that would make me drive over 1000 miles to get to. However, an Iron Horse treatment, and you have a ride that would grab my attention. Incidentally, having all three RMC coasters on one TPR trip led me to joining the Texas/Midwest, which will allow me to actually go to SFStl for the first time in over 20 years this summer. It does appear though, that most of you guys do seem to still appreciate the Boss more so than SFOT and SFFT's fans did for their respective woodies that got made over. But I still usually see the Boss pretty low on the Mitch Hawker's woodie poll. I guess I will find out this summer how good/bad of a ride it is and can judge for myself.

Well see, that makes more sense. All of that information was not in the original post which caused my confusion. If the decision was based purely on the length and costs, RMC has proven they have a solution for that with Iron Rattler. As far as this trademark thing, I would dare say the original Rattler had a few more "memorable" moments than the Boss does, but that is of course a matter an opinion.

This was a major part of Resident Evil 4 where you had to protect Ashley and made that game pretty difficult at times. And I agree that the Xbox announcement is pretty much them running way with their tails tucked under their legs.

The only thing that is throwing me off is that hand rail in the bottom right of the picture. Looks like it is heading up a hill. -

Exactly. I assume the MCBR is also a holding brake, so they could just be testing to make sure the ride can make it back to the station in case of a full-stop on the Mid-course brake. So many great looking coasters opening up in Europe this summer! -

Anyone know where this section of the park was? Can't tell if that is Mind Bender or the mine train in the background. Although I think that might be the old Pirate ship on the left which would make that where Batman the Ride is now. -
