Since i'm having issues with my Nikon D50 at the moment i got myself a Nikon D80.. That way i have a backup if something breaks during the coming trips.. (lens or camera (body) itself) Thanks for the comments so far

Now i guess i should tell how i liked the ride.. Here's a short story.. looking at the video on the internet.. it looked slow and boring.. It is not crazy.. but speedy enough (you will see hair flying) airtime?? yes.. it has.. floater like rough?? not really.. back was very smooth and the front a bit bumpy shakey (sideways) sound?? not what i expected from a woodie.. way too quiet (in my opinion) owh yeah.. the change of plans... ehm.. i realized that Holiday Park was not that far away.. home of EGF.. so... Best part... different angle.. Toys.. "Bring on the new load" Hi robb.. see you soon?? Today was Queensday in Holland. This usually means lots of drunk people an busy parks. Since it also means a free day... i decided to go to Germany and check out a new coaster (and test drive my new camera) As you might know by now Tripsdrill has a new woodie So this morning after driving for 5 hours i arrived at the park at 10:40am. The original plan was to spend all day there.. but the evening before i kind of changed my mind... but first things first.. TripsDrill pictures See you soon Tripsdrill i kinda likes this one.. one of many little funny things.. hmm, just a couple more weeks... train, track and wheels for the.... looks cool and now.. i present.. passengers came out kinda funny ok One of many crossings. First drop Let's try something else.. lifthill (for the ......??) Inside of the station.. although i wonder what they will do with the boards... No fog today Not that many people there yet.. so let's stay seated Looks like it was ok.. Tunnel hmmm first passenger train of the day going up.. station still empty but now we see the front.. empty train... But this is what i came for... test... twisty up and down what can i say nice view going up... I might as well check out the other coaster near by That's a shame.. it won't open for another 15 minutes... View from the area in front of the ride.. but hey.. what's that sign? If you like coasters.. check out Walibi.. if you are more into theming check out Efteling.. That's my advice.....

Hi there, It's winter time which means that most of the parks in Europe are closed we don't have a climate like the Miami area and i'm not used to taking a cheap flight (euro cheap is way more expensive then US cheap) to go south and visit something. Anyway.. while driving back from Austria after being there for 2 weeks as a ski instructor i noticed the Tripsdrill sign along the number 6 Highway. Since it was still pretty early on this valentine day (nobody waiting for me) and i somewhat remembered the route we took last summer i decided to have a look. After some nice scenery and mental challenges regarding the route (in the end you just have to follow the signs (even in that small town (going right)) i made it to the park.. First stop was the building area but for this report i'll start at the entrance. It was pretty cold while i was there and the sun was loosing power quickly so here's a selection of the pics i quickly took during the half hour visit.. Hope you enjoy it. i will conclude this selection with this picture.. Hope you enjoyed it. Looking forward to trains on this ride. Just for the info.. I did have a Tripod with me.. some are with the tripod.. and some are from hand (the darker pictures off course) Troy in the dark.. is even more fun then during the day. Especially when there's a fog machine which covers a part of the track. Troy is flying lately and is way faster then compared to our visit during the summer.... It's the only park open 365 days a year in this area.. so i'll visit it a few more times this winter.. I hope i'll have a picture of me riding Troy in the winter with snow and myself wearing a cap or something like that

It has been a while already but time flies. At this moment i finally have some time to post some of the pics i took while visiting the Halloween special at Toverland. Al of this happened oktober 27th. First up.. i'm not a big Halloween fan.. but i did like Troy, i did like Kentucky Rumbler (in the dark) and i wanted to check out Troy in the dark I Arrived at the park around 13:30 hours.. took some standard pics, hat a little bit etc etc etc. At 18:00 hours everybody had to leave the park which openend again at 19:00 hours for the Halloween guests. You had to get seperate tickets for it. Anyway.. after a few rides on Troy i did walk around a lot took a bunch of pictures, got a few more rides in and went home again. It was fun, i had a laugh and i loved Troy (again) Please keep in mind that this is a family park. enough said.. picture time Especially when chasing people of the train This guy had a blast.. he was having so much fun the entire vening what should i say? Just liked this view i see??? It was fun there should be a train in this picture (wrong settings ) almost back at the point where i entered the park this evening I did go back inside just to check it out and the rest of the view overview Trying something "new" at the boosterbike area.. Boosterbike spooky effects The survival course.. i did it.. have pics of it... but hey.. they are mine logflume theming soo much to see.. This makes me happy i missed a perfect photo possibilty (camera too high (reflecting water)) There's more to be seen there's somebody in a hurry fog machine area impression When it's dark.. it's dark.. just had to wait a few more seconds before the "running of the bulls" in the direction of Troy... when the lights go out... To conclude this small report the following pictures are from Chessington. The year before we visited Thorpe (which is more of a thrill park (to me)) but Chessington was a nice surprise. Looks like a cool drop More random people One of the best places?? Halloween time looks like having a great time While waiting for the others i enjoyed a bird show little bit of onride fun.. It was fun.. but a bit too many people able to shoot at the same targets at the same time.. The second park we visited was Alton Towers. I was looking forward to this especially Rita since it was closed last year.. Anyway.. the pics will speak for itself i guess. yes.. it was a good day for us. spinning teacup fun on the way out of the park.. we passed Nemesi again Air fun The air picture everybody has.. it just doesn't stop untill you hit the brakes.. especially compared to Black Mamba... I do like this layout.... More nemesis If you have time.. check out the Gardens and the area around it.. it's just lovely.. dude ehm.. this was after going through a halloween themed walkthrough (or haunted castle) looks "impressive" Single rider line worked perfectly today ehmm looks like they had a good time spinball time big (or small) plus for a park bye bye Have you seen the movie? inside i do like to experiment.. so here goes "nothing" Oblivion past some trees Looks like these guys forgot to get out while they could.. First a short story... during the summer of 2006 i was introduced to the possibility of going on a multiple day multiple park tour reading some reports and viewing some video's from this site. I do surf around sometimes and that also included a dutch website.. They offered a trip to the UK in october 2006.. After visiting Blackpool, Alton Towers and Thorpe Park that year i was hooked... This resulted in me joining the Midwest and Mini Europe trip this year... and as a small bonus for myself another visit to the UK.. This time it was Blackpool, Alton Towers and Chessington with 50 other coaster enthusiasts.. (most of them wearing red jackets) The following is a selection of the pics i took during that trip with some comments.. There might be some familiar faces in there.. and maybe none.. time will tell enough said.. photo time Last picture for today's visit.. not this year... Infusion at night you get such a nice feeling when walking around during this time of day.. Grand National station at night More lights lights being a "credit whore" i wanted to check the Crazy mouse.. it was closed at the time i was at it's location when the sun goes down.. the lights go on.. which results in some excellent views at Blackpool... first drop goodness the view from the restaurant area anyway.. dinner time.. and where better to go then Coasters? true Random person on Steeplechase.. just showing how much fun it is to be honest.. i don't have a clue who this is.. Plenty of space left This is what i like about Blackpool.. Rollercoaster time Yummie, just needs a volunteer.. The view was getting better by the minute Anyway.. time to enjoying a little "flying" This was my second visit to Blackpool.. and again.. i did not go in.. sometimes i wish i did not take that many pictures or bring my "expensive" camera with me.. maybe next year.. and the other result.. it was clouded most of the day and 12 degrees Celcius (53 Fahrenheit) Result number one while other members of the tour went like this... some random girl was going in like this... Plenty of warnings when you look around Blackpool=Valhalla More wood How many coasters can you count? I love this view almost there.. Big Dipper time No thanks The ride was more fun then i remembered from the year before... or was it just me being on more rougher rides? After eating something it was time for the Pepsi There was one person going round and round all day in these bumper boats.. some other random people.. to me this was nice surprise regarding how smooth the ride was.. especially compared to "el condor.." At least it looked like they enjoyed the ride Always fun to capture some onride moments.. nice for the viewing audience Next stop was Infusion The wild mouse was closed all day wood some members of the group i walked around with during the following days another angle Lovely view going up... no interaction between the trains Plenty of warning sings any familiar face on the train coming back into the station First stop of the day was the Grand National Yes.. we are almost there

Let me tell yah this... Today the Boosterbike was smooth compared to our visit during the summer.. But Troy is just way better

I don't do lists but.. It's high up in my favorits especially looking at wood coasters It doesn't matter how many rides you have on this one.. it stay's fun. I do know some that get boring after a few rides.. but this.. it's just amazing

After having a blast this summer during multiple trips i decided to head back to Toverland Today to see if Troy was still great or even better. I guess i did somewhere between 40 and 50 rides today (and yes it was not busy) It did run better every ride and at the end of the day it was just insane. The noise is perfect, the forces are lovely and the ride.. it's just an amazing amount of fun with a big reridabilty factor. Yes.. i love it.. althoug Beast in the Dark at the end of the MidWest Trip will remain the most memorable ride (for now) Anyway.. enough said.. here's a selection of my pics that day.. Last update... Kings Island. The park that was the end of the Trip with Night "ERT" on Beast... and all the other famous rides. The quality of pictures is not up to the "normal standard" so far.. sorry for that... I guess i was too tired to keep on running around in the heat and trying to get the best pics of everybody.. Or was it that this park did not have that many nice/good photo ops/places?? anyway... I would like to thank (again) everybody that partcipated on this trip for making it an excellent one.
