Dear Mrs. Cabrera: TEACH US THINGS. I know we're in trig and that makes us "smart", but don't assume we remember every little thing from Algebra 2. If we're reviewing a concept, don't show us the bare basics and make us figure out all the other complex ideas for each lesson, EXPLAIN THINGS. You suck as a teacher right now. Teaching doesn't mean putting a totally new concept on the board, and asking students what the next step towards the answer would be. You're supposed to walk us through a variety of problems, letting us understand everything we're about to see. Don't just push us off a cliff into the insanely hard math like you've been doing for the last month.

Eh, it seems good in theory, but there are quite a few little quirks about the addon that I just don't like. It takes a bit too long for the Pushnote window to pop up after clicking the button on your toolbar, your posts don't pop onto the feed in real time (you have to close the feed, then open it back up to see your posts), there's not way to edit or delete posts... Maybe I'm just nitpicky about it. And maybe in the future it'll improve, but for now, I'll pass.

I started playing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness yesterday. Seems like a pretty nice game, but MAN, the graphics take some getting used to. I expected them to be blocky and similar in style to Final Fantasy Tactics, but I didn't know it was going to be so blurry on a 16:9 TV. Ah well, it's still a fun first step into the world of strategy RPGs.

Rebel Fate - Cobra Skulls Great album, great band, AMAZING live shows.

I'm freaking sore right now. See, I was in my first mosh pit last night at a Cobra Skulls show. Even the experienced moshers said it was a pretty crazy one.

I just got back from what was easily the greatest show of my life. I saw The Carbonites, Drastic Actions, Danny Secretion and the Sh*tty Ramones, and the headliners, the Cobra Skulls. Everybody was awesome, especially the Cobra Skulls. But what really made the night special was that I experienced my first mosh pit ever. To put it simply, it was INSANE. People shoving you in every direction, crashing into everybody, jumping to the fast beat of the music, it was just amazing. But man, I'm more tired right now than I've ever been in my life. Such a great show.

Hm, how odd. I received an invitation to the DarkSpore Beta, which was apparently sent to members of the Spore Community, despite the fact that I've never played the original game or signed up for any forums or anything, ever. Ah well, I'll give it a shot. It looks pretty rad.

Okay, I'm freaking out now. I'm COMPLETELY lost in the massive complex of natural caves underneath my base in Minecraft. See, the cave naturally moved up, down, all over the place, so there's no logical order to any of it. And I can't risk killing myself, I have some good tools and materials on me.

Although, I'm gonna have to warn you, the PC version of Team Fortress 2 is far, FAR superior to the console version, as Microsoft hasn't allowed any of the 125+ free updates that VALVe have released, from map updates to dozens of new weapons, hats, game modes, maps, it has a higher player cap in each game, there's a drop system, trading, and much more. If you can possibly get the PC version of The Orange Box, by all means go for it, even if it means spending a little bit more.

I know I'm a few years late, but I just bought Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for PS2 off Amazon, $13.90 for a new copy.

How neat, my current post count (1995) is the same as my birth year... Have I really posted that many times on this site? Wow. I don't think I've contributed anything significant in that entire time.

^ I know you said you don't dig the super hardcore shooters, but give Team Fortress 2 a look. It's on 360/PS3 as part of The Orange Box, and on PC as a standalone game or as part of TOB. You can have fun with it at just about any skill level, there's something for everybody. And the community tends to be really great, they're generally friendly and very forgiving of new players. Oh, and have you checked out any music games? Rock Band 2 and the DJ Hero series are really good.
