  1. stabbing the Disney Channel people for offering him a part in High School Musical 3. He screamed, "HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO FIGURE OUT THAT I HATE THIS JOB?" Bowling Pin was devistated. He loved HSM and Zac Efron. Then
  2. Since I'm only 15, and I'm just starting my sophmore year, I will be working as a tutor at Guy Emanuel Elementary's after school program. It's not a hard job, I just have to help the kids with their homework, and watch em on the playground. The best part is it pays! And I worked here last year, so that means automatic RAISE! God, I love that word. But for Summer 08, when I'm old enough, I'm going to apply at Great America (CA). I hope I can get the job.
  3. "Enjoy your ride on Manhattan Express." "Enjoy your ride on this SLC. Not responsible for bleeding limbs." "Uh-oh. Someone just puked on the Enterprise. Oh well, just put your feet around it." "Welcome back. We hope you enjoyed the Vortex (PGA). Please take a complementary Tylenol, you'll feel better." "Oh crap!"
  4. Man, spam really sucks. It was the downfall of one of my favorite "suberb forums:" Space Station 77 (Space Mountain fan site). I loved the site, but it wasn't nearly as big as TPR. Only one admin., and no moderators. All of a sudden, spambots came and posted tons of porn and crap like that. Now they have to redo the entire forum. I'm really glad that Theme Park Review hasn't fallen victim to something like that. And I hope it never will.
  5. NOOOOOO!!!!!! My ears will bleed. The kids disturb me.
  6. That would be interesting to see a Disko coaster at Cedar Point. I've never been there, but I've been on Survivor at Great America and it is lots of fun. If it is a new coaster, Cedar Fair will probably advertise it like this: NEW COASTER FOR 2008! THE TALLEST IN THE WORLD! A WHOPPING 457 FEET! THE FASTEST IN THE WORLD! ZOOM BY AT 129 MILES PER HOUR! Lol
  7. Loved Tower of Terror. He screamed like a girl when it
  8. Stealth at PGA (No longer there), 2.5 hours. It wasn't that bad because it was dusk and it cooled down. Worth every second, that ride kicked A$$! Invertigo at PGA, 1.5 hours. I love the ride, but I hated the sunburn. Longest I wait for it now is 45 min. Grizzly River Run at DCA, 2 hours in the hot sun. They had a huge rope switchback which took 45 minutes to get through. Then the real line took another hour and 15 minutes. I hate that stupid ride. I hear over and over again that this ride will soak you like no other rapids ride. What happens? I get off the ride bone dry. That ride sucked. Splash Mountain at DL, 1 hour. Not that long, but I was tired cause it was 9 am. It was worth the wait though, I got drenched! Why didn't that happen on GRR?
  9. I heart Vekoma Invertigo.
  10. Grizzly at PGA is very bumpy, but the first drop in the back gives you airtime. The rest of it sucks, and should only be ridden by credit whores... I still ride it though, cause I like the airtime. I know. I'm a hypocrite. What can I say? I'm VERY easily impressed with roller coasters. I'd probably enjoy Mean Streak.
  11. Defenitely Goldfish, washed down with Pepsi. Best snack. Ever. In the history of forever.
  12. Random question: when they're talking about the flyers, what is "snapping?" I've been on a flyer, but I don't know what snapping is.
  13. O.k. then, you can still go on Saturday. Just because it's crowded doesn't mean you can't have a good time.
  14. Hmm. I actually prefer Great America over DK. I went to DK a few times (when it was still Marine World) and I thought it wasn't as good as GA. But Great America holds sentimental memories (my parents met there), so it will always be my favorite park (other than Disney, nothing beats that).
  15. I'm not patient enough to wait 8 hours for anything. The longest I'd wait for anything is 3 hours. But I guess the 8 hours went fast because you were with friends and you could talk and stuff.
  16. Hope you have a great time!
  17. I don't know about Discovery Kingdom, but I know Great America inside and out (Wow card holder who lives 20 minutes away). If you're going during the summer, here's how to make the most of your day. -Try not to go on a Saturday. It is always very crowded on Saturdays in the summer. Usually 40+ minute waits for EVERYTHING. You're better off Monday through Friday. -If you must go on Saturday: 1. Go on Top Gun right at opening (10 am). The line grows very quickly and can be full by 10:30. 2. Don't do re-rides in the morning. Even though the lines are short, you should try to get to the back of the park as quick as you can. That's where the two longest lines in the park are: Survivor the ride and Psycho Mouse. 3. Go to the Water park when they open. That's when there's no lines. 4. At the peak time of the day (around 2-5) the lines for everything are massive. If you want to get all the credits in GA, this is the worst time. The weather is burning hot, and it's not fun waiting in the sun. I'd suggest seeing a show, or playing games. Something to keep you cool. 5. If you must ride during this time, I think the best option is Demon. The line does get long, around 45 min. sometimes, but a lot of the queue (except the short switchback before the station) is covered by trees, so it's good to keep cool. 6. If you can, stick around till closing. The last hour Great America's open, the lines disappear in the back of the park (except Survivor the Ride, it's fairly new and VERY popular). And it's very nice seeing all the lights and stuff. Keep in mind that this is during the SUMMER. I'm not sure about how the crowds are during the beginning of the season. But if possible, go on a Saturday in October. Walk-on's for almost all the rides. That's about all I can think of right now. Sorry that was such a long post. I'm just trying to make your visit as enjoyable as you can. Hope you have fun!
  18. ^^Good nutshell. I want to see Robb's pics of Cedar Point and Great America, but I can wait.
  19. Ooh, I got a couple good ones. Peter eats a bunch of churros at the snack bar, then rides the Gravitron right next to Meg. Then Peter upchucks all over Meg on purpose. Then Peter could notice that the ride op was wearing a Darth Vader mask. Peter, being stupid thinks it's real, then pulls off the mask. All of a sudden it's...THE CHICKEN! Of course, then we have a seven minute chicken fight where they're going all over the amusement park breaking things and stuff like that. Maybe Stewie could sneak into a ride op booth and make it go really fast and people get flung off of it.
  20. I love the pic that says, "Did I mention we're at a Cedar Fair park?" My local Cedar Fair park, Great America, which I only live 20 minutes away from , I see about a trillion trash cans more than there were when Paramount ran the park.
  21. Does anyone here feel they have ridden the smallest number of coasters? I do. My coaster count is at about 26. Anyone ridden less than 26 coasters?
  22. Great America (California). The best ride is Top Gun (B&M invert) and the worst ride is Vortex (B&M Stand Up).
  23. Yes. Do you enjoy Vekoma Invertigo (regular, not super)?
  24. I like cheese. But not on Nachos.
  25. I haven't been on Dragster nor Ka, but I want to.
