  1. ^Dang it! That was better than the ghetto fair's "Darth Vader wouldn't eat his tater." Here Lies Matt He fell from Blue Fall and went Splat.
  2. ^Perfect motivation for Robb!
  3. ^That figures. No wonder they're called Togo Death Machines. If they removed the OTSR's, it would be a little more pleasant, but they hurt so bad it totally ruined the already horrid ride.
  4. Sorry to bump this topic, when I rode it last year (August 06), it was with the Premier trains. It would have been awesome, had it not been for the OTSR's. My chin kept bashing into them, and I think the name should have been changed from Manhattan Express, to A$$kicker Express. It's still the Togo death machine it has always been. When I go to Vegas in December, I will give it ONE more chance. If it still hurts, I'm done with it. Besides, I have yet to get my Speed and Canyon Blaster credits.
  5. That name change happened a while ago. We TPR members still call it Manhattan Express just so it's easier to recognize, because, how many coasters are called "Roller Coaster?" Manhattan Express is the only coaster in the world that was named that. In my opinion, its original name was a lot better.
  6. ^Wow, these things must be addictive. What substance could ICEE be putting in their Vault treat? Does it give you energy like the soda is advertised, or is it just the flavor? I still haven't tasted Vault or its frozen counterpart, so I'm not sure.
  7. ^I've never even been to Epcot. I've only seen the pictures of TPR members loving the most wonderful carbonated drink ever created. Yes, I know that ANYTHING>Beverly...and Buffalo.
  8. Wow. The popcorn machine is still there after 3 years. Cosmoworld sounds like a really fun park, especially the log flume with airtime!
  9. You're all wrong! The best soda in the world is Beverly!
  10. ^Now I feel sheepish.
  11. That's great! Daniel is probably smiling from heaven!
  12. My local Target only has white cherry and blue raspberry. For me, the best ICEE's in the world are Coke and Cherry (regular red). My question is: how did this thread change from Robb's weight loss to how much everyone loves ICEE's? The last page or so everyone has posted something about the frozen treats! I say we go back on topic, before the purpose of this thread gets too distracted.
  13. I want to try that Vault ICEE so much, even though I haven't had the soda yet.
  14. The fake drop is shown in Robb's Seaparadise video. It is when the ride releases you to drop, but some brakes at the top catch you, hold you for a second or so, then you drop the rest of the way down. If I'm not right, please correct me.
  15. ^Lol! Since you're okay with it: I'd love to see a TPR video showing this comedy gold of Jahan working out!
  16. ^You're such a kind person, Ed. Way to go Robb! Still ahead of schedule. Keep it up, and you could lose more than 30 pounds!
  17. Began to turn into Spookbaby! Robb looked at Joe/Laura, and said to him/her, "That is the secret of the Dole Whip. If an ACEr holds one for too long, it will give you split personalities." But all of a sudden, Joe got really mad and began to
  18. ^And Dorneypark_fan as Exhibit B.
  19. ^Yeah. Trash is disgusting, but still, tons of trashcans still looks tacky.
  20. ^^That sounds like an awful day, Elissa. I don't think I want to go to SFMM, if their staff operations are that pitiful. I'd rather go to Disney or something, where they have operating rides and such down to a science. Still, I'd like to try their roller coasters, just to see how thrilling they are.
  21. Okay, CGA doesn't have nearly that many trash cans. But eventually, there will be. But still, at least they're preserving classics! EDIT: I counted 21 in the pic! We should have a photo contest to see who can show as many C.F. trash cans in one picture!
  22. ^Exactly. There are many trees at Great America. I can't see them taking all of that foliage out. Now that I think about it, just about every ride in the park is surrounded by trees. The only Cedar Fair-ified ride that I can think of on the spot is Invertigo. Switchbacks galore, no shade in the queue, and an abundance of concrete, all C.F. approved. Other rides in the park with switchbacks at least have shade over them (e.g. Vortex, Drop Zone). Top Gun doesn't even have switchbacks, its line is themed (and hopefully C.F. will keep it that way). Well, when it comes to the usual C.F. stereotype, I'd rather have trillions of trash cans than the removal of Marriott rides, which happened during the Reign of Terror (Paramount in the 2000's, when many classic attractions were removed).
  23. ^LOL! I still want this DVD. I want to see the POV's so badly.
  24. I've never had Vault, let alone a Vault ICEE, but I do love Frozen Cokes, just like Jahan!
  25. ^^It's too concentrated. One sip is too strong.
