  1. No. It makes things more interesting. When Maverick was announced and the manufacturer was listed as Intaride instrad of Intamin I was actually half hoping it was a different company, just because it would make things more interesting. However, that doesn't stop me from feeling sorry for the riders of this coaster. It looks badly designed with painfull RCT-ish transitions.
  2. I don't even want to know Anyway, it was okay, but Supercoasters from last year was better. They could have improved it by having more than two coasters. It got kinda repetitive just going back and forth with Renegade and Griffon.
  3. The area with Nor'Easter and Tidal Wave is completly unfinished. In the final (That is, if I ever finish the park) it will look much better. And don't feel too bad for never having ridden a B&M coaster, they arn't all there cracked up to be. From a design and aesthetics standpoint, they are the best, but in terms of ride expierence they tend to fall behind Intamin coasters.
  4. I would go with adding additional theming.
  5. Wow, I had thought everyone forgot about this. Well, I haven't been doing anything on this park (all my RCT3 time has been spent working on OCP) so I don't have anything new to show, but I suppose I'll show off the new coaster Also, I might get an on-ride video of the coaster. COASTER FACT FILE Name: Nor'Easter Type: Inverted Looping Company: Bolliger and Mabillard Propulsion: Chain Lift Height: 119 feet Speed: 50 Miles per Hour Length: 2619 feet Drop: 85 feet Duration: 1:13 Theme: Storms Colors: Black track spine, Seafoam green running rails and ties, Silver supports, Seafoam green trains And into the brakes. Nor'Easter is one forcefull, old-school B&M ride. Woooooooooo!!!!!!! Improbably small tunnel. Under the bridge. Shots like this are always fun. YYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! These funky supports make for a frightening foot chopper. Coming back in. It's time for our ride! Don't try this shot at home. If people had been on it, I probably wouldn't have a head right now! From the queue line for Tidal Wave, a splashboats ride. Zoom! Last inversion. Out of the rocks. That's more like it! Immelmann. The trademark B&M invert straightaway. Into the cobra roll. The layout. The first half. The towering lift. In the station. To see it this empty, get in early at the back gate. The queue. Almost like ERT.
  6. I can't wait for the announcement. I'm betting on a Gwazi-esque GCI, but a dueling Gravity Group ride would be sweet. Espiecally if it was as twisted as Boardwalk Bullet. Yeah, that would totally rule (hint, hint )
  7. The dive machinw going over Niagra Falls doesn't look disney at all. But I'll excuse it, since it looks so awesome.
  8. -Mid 1978- After a while without getting any tours and a two week vacation in California, I'm back, and managed to get in to the park to get some pictures. Alot has happened, with Capitol Plaza almost complete, and some other exciting stuff! And to finish, here is a view of Capitol Plaza. I decided to hike up the mountain to get a better view of the construction site. Again. A wide view of the footers and markers from the boardwalk. Looks like footers for scafolding supports, like a lift hill or break run. By the positioning, I'm guessing these are for a transfer track. What's this? The pre-lift section. The station still needs some work. The storage shed has been completed, and the trains are on the track, but I wasn't allowed to take a picture of them. A view of Hoosac Tunnel. Another view from the deck. A view of the entrance from Patriot Grill's deck. This restaraunt is named "Patriot Grill" and will serve mainly Burgers and Steak. This is the harbor scene at the beginning. It's far from finished, and doesn't even have a roof yet! This is the building for the dark ride, which will be named "Paul Revere: The Midnight Ride". A little snack place just inside the entrance. Ahhh, it's good to back.
  9. Earlier today, there where two flys in my room, and I got really tired of them. When was the last time you eat leftovers?
  10. Kinzel won't be leaving until 2012. That is, if Cedar Fair isn't sold, but if it is, they want to keep the same managment, which I would assume includes Kinzel.
  11. This thing looks awesome, espiecally that first drop. I hope the TPR Texas trip happens, because that would probably be the only chance I would have to ride this.
  12. I didn't see this coming either. Time to go round up 4 Billion dollars then
  13. Massachusetts (Where I have lived all my life) Connecticutt Vermont New Hampshire Maine New York Pennsylvania Ohio New Jersey And maybe Rhode Island, but I'm not sure if I've ever been there.
  14. It's actually just a relocated Pinfari.
  15. Yeah, they have a powered Zamperla coaster, because of complaints from locals, the Vekoma has been pushed back to 2008 or possibly cancelled.
  16. Cool update, the Elvis dark ride looks awesome. But you should remove the default entrance signs for The King and Mighty Missisippi, and move the lamp post that is blocking MM's entrance.
  17. Windigo has a very unique layout, and it can't help but remind me of Marineland's Dragon Mountain... Except it's not boring, and it's not one of those coathanger Arrow rides, and it's... Oh, nevermind, it's nothing like Dragon Mountain
  18. I got 6/10. There where actually two questions were I was going to answer Indiana Beach, but changed my mind, only to have it turn out Indiana Beach was the right answer.
  19. Scamper, Sarajevo Bobsleds, Scooby Zoom, Santa Monica West Coaster, Screamer
  20. The Mean Streak ops say Mean Streak is a good coaster. Is that true? I'm not denying that you are right though, but don't trust everything ride-ops say. And the press release says 4 seconds.
