I'm always amazed to see the huge rides they have on those German fairs. Although I'm not really into fairs, this report makes we want to visit one of those fairs in Germany.

^Driving can be very fast at most places if you want, as there is no speed limit at a lot of parts of the highways With a good map, it should be pretty easy, although I strongly recommend renting a gps. You can easily find back the opening days on the parkwebsites. In any case Europapark is open daily till beginning of November.

^If you don't want to miss the Nurburgring coaster fall, as that coaster will only open in June. Avoid June because of schooltrips. Avoid early September too. I've been to Europapark on a Friday late September 2 years ago and all rides were walk ons, so I can recommend that period.

^ Check whether Frankfurt airport isn't more convenient. In any case you will probably have a better connection to Frankfurt iso Dusseldorf. Btw, don't forget to include a visit to the Nurburgring where the fastest coaster in the world is being built.
