Final update : Horror Fest @ Moviepark Germany We left before it got dark. Next year I HAVE to visit Horror Fest again. I want to be a make up artist at MPG Yeah baby ! This guy was awesome too. See ? She's ready ! Should have take a pic of their butt Not sure that the little guys in the background liked it. Hooray ! Another chainsaw guy. 'Don't mention the war' My personal favorites : halloween clowns. Still looking very happy. Really a lot of scare actors. 'I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm happy, ...' I liked this one too. Hot chicks. The butcher I love chainsaw guys. A lot of scare actors at Horror Fest. My oldest daughter is probably ready to join me on my Halloween trips next year. Nice horsie Horror Fest has begun. Getting darker. 'Mama & papa are going to do the 'adult' halloween maze.' Can you imagine I once waited 75 minutes to enter this maze ? 'Whatever happens, STAY SEATED till we're back'. The old Gremlins building now functioning as Halloween darkride. 'Papa, do you think that's scary ?' Hey weirdo ! Oh look. An 'adult' maze which is already open. Posing safely next to her sister. Posing for a picture near a skeleton was still okay. Although the youngest one was too sure about that. My kids didn't dare to go inside. Oow, a spider room !! For the first time ever, I was allowed into the kids maze. Since we had the kids with us, we didn't plan to stay too late at the park, but still we wanted to enjoy the event as much as possible. -
Ok, in the meanwhile I managed to calibrate it in a correct way and it is really awesome. I even have an automatic link from the Nike website to facebook now where my running distance, average speed etc is being transferred immediately after I connect my Ipod to my computer. On Saturday I ran the 10k Human Race together with ten thousands of other people all over the world. For Belgium I ran the 25nd time I checked yesterday evening (47 minutes and a bit). If anyone on this forum with the same Nike Ipod kit wants to take a virtual challenge against me once in while, just let me know.

Great pictures Hans. I can see you have lovely weather during your visit Yeah, you definitely could notice there were less actors than in the previous years and the 'Eddie Circus' maze was simply disappointing. The Alice 3D maze was indeed great but a few years ago there was a similar maze in Port Aventura including turning tunnel so I had a déjà vu. One time when we were in Club Roxy, there probably was a coffee break for the actors because there were hardly actors in the maze. The other times, all actors were there. -

Having been on the WCT last summer, my recommendation would be : 1 day SFMM Morning visit to Universal + afternoon/evening visit to DCA. Although I've been to DLP many times, DCA was a real surprise to me.

^My pleasure ^^ We didn't do any rides during our visit. -
Yesterday evening we went for the 5th or 6th time in 4 years to the Fright Nights @ WW. We had R.I.P. passes again, but as it was too cold to wait for a ride on Goliath, we had sufficient time to do the mazes several times and for the first time in 4 years, we did the normal waiting row for Club Roxy. DAMN, I had heard in the past years it's great, but it actually is really the best waiting row I've ever been in at any themepark. It has coloured glowing boxes, a bar (!!!), loud dance music, hot dancers, ..., we did the maze 3 times just because of the waiting row. I made a small impression movie in the row and here you have it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GS5KIqUGvwM I hope it's a he, otherwise .... He/she was very popular. The awesome maze-exit. Though it's a great maze, if WW is not going to expand with a 4th maze next year, I surely hope it will be this maze they will replace and not the 'older' Club Roxy. Eddie's Circus And another one. Forest actor. To exit Club Roxy you have to walk through a forest. It's still my favorite part at any maze I've been in, after the waiting row for the same maze since yesterday. HOT dancer. Glowing cubes. Not my favorite kind of music, but at this place a really really liked it. And then it was time for Club Roxy with the most amazing waiting area at any attraction in any park in the world. Exit. We had R.I.P. passes so no waiting for us. The 3d effects are awesome. The scareactors too. And there is smoke Let's do the new maze first. Normal waiting row was going up to the entrance of the park. Still not dark enough for the second maze either. We still had time to decide as it wasn't dark yet. Hard choice : amazing waiting row or no waiting row. New maze this year is the 3d maze Alice in Horrorland. He/she is waiting for you at the exit of the maze. Main street It's a very popular event but still, they only do this for 8 nights in total this year. The reason why we are here. X-pres Goliath

Efteling Hotel. As I only live about 40 minutes driving from De Efteling, we actually never stayed for the night at the Efteling Hotel, although I'm a huge addict to themeparkhotels. My daughters didn't have school on Thursday and Friday, weather forecast was great, so we decided to make it a more day trip and stay for the night at De Efteling Hotel. Time to eat. Pardoes joining the table. Wassup ? Time for dinner. While waiting for food, my daughters got something to do. I want something like that in my garden. Some other themed suites. Kids area Almost time for dinner. But first some more hotel exploring. Beatles drinking coke. I was able to keep an eye on my car while being at our room. Venus in furs. My daughters really enjoyed the room. Ok, there is more to drink. Bedroom Museum stuff The company story Damn, only 4 free Cola bottles. When entering the room, we felt like entering a Coca Cola museum. My wife was happy with the Senseo coffiemaking machine in the room. Ok, on to the room. The Coca-Cola suite was still available so we decided to take that one. Hotel entrance to the park. But before we go to the room, some more lobby theming. I made an online reservation but the themed suites couldn't be booked online. So I was glad there were still themed suites available when checking in. But never have been inside. I knew how it looks from the outside. Like this. -

Day 3/3 : Europapark Final Europapark picture. Actually it isn't. Next update will be the 'Baby makes here blue jeans' poll @ Europapark. Coming through ... Pegasus theming And the winner is ... Raft bridge. One more ride on Blue Fire Soccer bumpercars Everyone who have read my WCT report, knows that I like clean windows on skytowers. At Europapark, the windows were perfectly clean. Some views taken from the skytower The movie was good, the 4d effects weren't. Yes, you look stupid ! I'm a fan of John Travolta Silver Star Wwwwhhhhiiiiieeeeee ! And suddenly we're at Poseidon. Going down Blue Fire Coaster part Awesome theming. Traffic jam. After 2 rides on Blue Fire, we still had time to ride Atlantica during ERT. Iceland At this point you still didn't reach the single riders line ( Train Like Hans said, this is really a weird element. Hotel ERT on Blue Fire -

Day 10, DCA and Disneyland Final update All set for the long trip back home. The trip was really amazing. Everything was very well organised, the parks were great, the rides were great, ERT rocked, everybody on the trip was awesome. This is the taxi Elissa arranged for us to bring us to LAX . Look what I found. As said, it was busy. Annual pass row It was busier than the day before. So the Captain Hook vessel was actually sailing. Me and the tiny castle. And I really loved this attraction. It was great fun. I really like this coaster. A bug's life. Fake but good wall. No row, so let's ride Monsters Inc. Photo point Final day of the WCT so I decided to take some random pictures at the park, reride some attractions and do a lot of shopping. -
