  1. You send it takes way to long to upload. I already uploaded it to RapidShare, if you don't know how to use it, just ask, and I'll help. http://d18.yousendit.com/E/3LNPU7ZYOHTPY245C2NQMSBGMU/DesertStormPOV.wmv http://s18.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3LNPU7ZYOHTPY245C2NQMSBGMU
  2. But I have had Soaked and Wild installed the entire time I've been playing so far. Chances are a peice of Soaked or Wild scenery snuck in. EDIT: NVM, its the TPR server. The download should work as soon as bandwidth is restored.
  3. Well the pictures are obviously not working right now! Instead I did a Desert Storm POV. Its 7MB. From off ride, the ride looks fine! But once your on, boy, its a real toughie! Also notice where I get hit with a palm tree. Yes, I am a quite person, you don't hear me talk threw out the entire video. EDIT: Rapid Shared! http://rapidshare.de/files/10079151/DesertStormPOV.wmv.html
  4. I just now got back to Greeley and uploaded the pictures. I'm going to go re-size them right now!
  5. I was born and rasied in Glendale, Arizona for 10 years of my life. Castles n' Coasters was just one of the weekend fun things to do. Visits were regular, about at least once a month. Castles n' Coasters is home to the Desert Storm, my very first looping coaster, a Hopkins ride. The Patriot is also a Hopkins kiddie coaster. Sence the train goes around twice, I remember my first time. The first lap I was screaming my butt off saying "I don't like this! I want to get off!" and by the time the train stoped in the station I was, "Lets do that again!". Patriot is know as my very first rollercoaster. This was my first time back to the park in 2 years. This visit was really close to not happening. No one wanted to go. But I convinced my aunt that we should because Patriot was being sold and the fact we didn't get to go last year. So we were just going to stay 1 hour. When we got to the park their was already a long line to get into the park. But since we got our "special" passes for unlimited rides for only $10 we skipped right up to customer service, where our passes were already printed out and waiting for us. My first stop of course was Desert Storm. I got front seat. I tried to get the best POV I could, I havnt check it out yet. But that first loop was just so intense that when you put a penny on your hand, it will be plastered there the entire loop, I've tried. My next stop was the newer ride in the park, Sky Diver. I've been on many different drop towers; but mostly S&S, and Intamin. But Sky Diver is a completly different experience. The lift is slow, and seems to take forever to got all the way up to the top. But once you get to the top you drop. And you fall, your just keep falling and keep falling. It gets to the point where you feel like the car will never stop and you are going to smash right into the ground. The car even shakes about 3/4 of the way down. Don't be fooled by the carnie and a very inapropriate look, its not worth missing. I skipped over to Patriot. I wanted to get on the small coaster before it was sold off. I got a middle seat POV. The helix is still the best part of the entire ride. Then lunch. I never remember Castles n' Coasters pretty much giving away ACEr means for $5.05! Back to Desert Storm. This time I was in the back. Wow. In the back, you get wipped around, a lot. Especially over the top of the lift hill and in the second loop. But non the less sensational ride. Its just to short. I went back and did Sky Diver a couple of times. Splashdown is the parks log flume. I heard somewhere that this one and the one at Cliff's are the only two to have 60 degree drops anymore. I still love the ride. I could ride it all day. From the top of the tallest lift you get some great shots of Desert Storm. Then we headed home. I got some great picutres that will be up as soon as I get back to Colorado. And about 6 minutes of footage, I wish I could of gotten more. But that hour turned into 4 hours. In all, this park is no Knotts, but just a place to go for the day. The coaster is great along with the log flume. The park was very very clean. But the employees could use some Starbucks. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best. Desert Storm - 7 Sky Diver - 9 Patriot - 6 Splashdown - 7 Overall park - 7
  6. I know a few people here have, rollercoasterdan, hopefully Ill make it out on Thrusday if I get time, Id love to check out the wild mouse!
  7. Dose anyone know anything about where Ledgend City was? I know they had a woodie. I just saw the Santa's Village commercial on TV, and it looks like they have a Maurer Söhne Xtended SC 2000, or something like it where 2 riders sit back to back. Dose anyone have pictures? Maybe Ill go check it out if I have time on Thursday.
  8. Its really cool, we were driving over to our cousin's the other night. While on the highway on an over pass, you could see Santa's Village from a ways away. Mostly because its at the very end of light known to Tempe/Chandler. You can cleary make out a Ferris Wheel and something like a shot tower.
  9. Well even though a flat is possiable, the entire area behind it, the pavillions, are never used. I could see them removing 1/2 of the pivillions in order for a bigger ride or maybe even a small coaster.
  10. Primeval Whirl
  11. I see Elitch's as more of a "test grounds" for coasters and rides. Like Halfpipe, and The Flying Coaster, etc. I wouldn't be suprised if it were something new or something that has never been built. Something that I think could possiably happen is a wild mouse. Like a portiable one, like Cheeta Chase at The Lost Continent.
  12. I go by every year in the winter. This is the first time they have been off.
  13. Thats what I got my mom for Christmas, the purple one
  14. Im going to talk my dad into driving around in the parking lot when we come back. Ill just say something along the lines of "Hey! We should go pratice parking in the Six Flags parking lot!" He'll so go, and I will so have my camera.
  15. Ok, so some strange things have been going on, or at least that I think so, have been going on at Six Flags. Driving along I-25 the other day, a friend said that Tower of Doom (Intamin drop) was running, but with people on it. Also, driving by on my way to Arizona, non of the lights were on. This is strange because usually because every time I drive by at night, there are usually lights on Mind Eraser and Twister, but nothing this time. Also, if their new attraction was going to be a coaster, wouldn't you expect construction to begin by now? Or even an annoucement? I didn't notice any cranes, but hopefully I'll see something more when I pass by on the 30th or 29th.
  16. Desert Storm, if I remember right, is one of the most intense coasters that I have ridden. The way the loops are designed with the lower entrance and higher exit, it makes G's very intense. With the second loop (I call it a loopscrew) the lateral and vertical G's combine to make a strange sinsation. I remember my very first ride on it, it was my first looping coaster, and all I really remember is that threw the loops, I only saw my feet! Its a ride that someone will always remember.
  17. Well from where Im staying we are only like 5 miles from Santa's Village! I heard that they have a wild mouse, and I was going to be a credit whore and go take millions of pictures, but with my expences and people to take me, its not going to happen. So it looks like its Castles N' Coasters on Wednesday. Dose anyone know if Patriot is still operating?
  18. Ive always heard some stuff about Arrow's pipeline coaster. Truthfuly I never even knew it existed until I saw this pic. http://rcdb.com/ig25.htm?picture=9 In the chat I got a few links like: http://www.coasterglobe.com/features/history-pipeline/arrowpipeline1.jpg But dose anyone have any pictures or images of the coaster?
  19. I personally don't mind the park. I think its just a great park to go hang out with your friends at and play a few rounds of mini golf. Its definitely no Cedar Point.
  20. I'm pretty much leaving for Arizona tomorrow at like 3 am. We are going down there to visit family and go to Castles n' Coasters! Its still not 100% sure if we are going. But if so it would be the first time Ive been to this park in 2 years, and with my camera and video camera. I grew up at this park for 11 years, its nice to be returning and see how bad they have really gotten! If you don't know the park, here is when R&E visited: http://www.themeparkreview.com/castles/castles1.htm
  21. Best Buy usually has some good ones around $35, that fits all cameras.
  22. When I hear "Dazzle Digital Video Creator" I think of something I would find out of west Hollywood. "Buy my Dazzle Digital Video Creator, it will make your video dazzle with grrrrreat effects"
  23. Arrow, all the way. Even though when you finally find one (which its pretty hard now adays) they are something definitly worth riding. I know the one at Elitch Gardens is just like airtime master (IMO, more then Xcelerator). For me the deciding factor would be the ride qualities: Airtime: Arrow Launch: Schw Forces: Arrow Suspence: Arrow Thrill: Arrow
  24. EurUPton was closed when I was there.
  25. Ok, here it is. I added Balder, and a swing ride. tpr_park_147.dat
