I must say I much preferred the backwards side to the forwards. But what we can we do?

Recent Trip.

I'm heading off to Orlando this year in March. I'm going to hit up Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Sea World and BGA. Then of course in April and the rest of the season I'll be going to KI has much as I can. I would also like to take a trip to CP and HW this year. We'll see if these 2 happen or not.

I would have much preferred Gyro Drop if they had to make the name as generic as Drop Tower.

I e-mailed CGA and here is there response to the name change to Afterburn and back to Flight Deck.

Yes I also noticed it was changed back to Flight Deck. My head hurts, what are they doing over there?

I wonder if the rest of the Flight Deck's will get the Afterburn treatment?

2007 had to be the worst year yet for TR, but it should be up and running for the 2008 season. Also you missed one ride name change Days of Thunder = Thunder Alley

They are some 16 year olds that are very mature while others are not. They are also some 18 year olds that are very mature while others are not. I work in retail, I'm a Guest Service Team Lead, and sometimes when I'm working and we have a lot of minors that day, I feel like I'm a babysitter, than a supervisor.

I can see how it would be hard to run it with 3 trains. Doesn't it only have 4 blocks? which is enough to run 3 trains, but they would have to haul to get those trains out.

Did they use to have the KD logo on the front of the Anaconda cars? I also noticed the trains were only 6 cars trains and not 7 like they are today. I heard when it opened it ran 3, 6 car trains, and for some reason they caused problems, so they took 2 cars off and added 1 to each other the other 2 trains, so now you have 2, 7 car trains.

I rode Vu back in 2005 at SFGAM and I wasn't that impressed. It was a little rough too. At least I got to ride it I suppose.

I've been 2-9 with, on Vortex on the lift and in the block brakes. Also on King Cobra. When I worked at KI in 1999 I got to help evack riders from AE's first lift. That was fun, all while in the rain.

A few rides do have these this year at KI. Vortex has one, and Firehawk was several. I'm sure others to as well, but those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Actually it was a Paramount Park thing, I believe the crew get them when they get good GR's.

I'll be there August 13, 14 and 15th.

The logo sounds very familiar and similar to KI's Nickelodeon Universe.

Where is the paint chipping at? I know in the station you can clearly see green paint visible under the brakes. Also the rotating track you can also see green paint at the ends when it flips.

I was 7 when I first rode a coaster. Vortex at Kings Island.
