  1. The proposed architecture of the station building should keep it in theme. I believe it will still take the charm out of the area, as I believe some of Skyrush actually goes through Comet's lower structure.
  2. Well, there goes an hour of my life I'll never get back.
  3. Argh, I was really close that time. I didn't think of Lightning Bolt because it wasn't operating. Well played.
  4. The ride was an Intamin roller coaster with Giovanola hired on as a subcontractor (like the Intamin stand-ups).
  5. The ride manufacturer is Giovanola. They've built two hyper coasters in the US, and they've both affected their respective parks' skylines.
  6. The ride could be designed and/or built by IntaRide LLC, which is Intamin AG's US facility.
  7. The ride could be built in the US, but themed to something in Europe.
  8. The ride could be produced by Intamin AG. They have three facilities in mainland Europe, which I believe is the most of any roller coaster manufacturer.
  9. The coaster could be completely below its park's skyline. Most regions in Europe do not allow construction above tree height without special permission.
  10. The ride could have taken another ride's place as the dominant coaster.
  11. The ride could be the only roller coaster in the park that affects the skyline (everything else being below the trees).
  12. Skyline could refer to a roller coaster that's been painted a different color so it doesn't affect the skyline (like Stealth, Wild-Svinet, or Rita).
  13. Extension could mean that a ride's layout was modified by adding extra length.
  14. Oh, that was different than before. Two could mean that the ride was constructed by one manufacturer, than picked up or modified by another.
  15. Comet at Great Escape. Constructed by M&V, has lived in two cities (Crystal Beach and Queensbury), has two trains, and is built using two different construction materials (wood track, steel structure).
  16. Does the "two" refer to manufacturers (such as B&M, S&S, M&V, etc)?
  17. Have you? They don't have to put track in the plant's backyard, you know. Maybe Six Flags put in a special request to keep the track hidden from public view. No one really knows.
  18. Deja Vu is odd because it wasn't designed like that. Six Flags Over Georgia showcased a Deja Vu car - However, the final ride had the massive additions like the ones you see above. A new GIB opened in China recently, but I don't know if it has the same system...
  19. I'm still on the side that thinks the ride ISN'T Iron Wolf and IS a brand new stand-up.
  20. Your argument is completely valid. Like I said, most RCT3 custom content does not have collision detection - you couldn't make that double carousel if the custom scenery had collision detection.
  21. Geopanic anyone? Image courtesy of RCDB.
  22. Some of those trims were un-necessary. It made the ride exceptionally boring. It was very smooth though.
  23. Fahrenheit at Hersheypark has the best drop I've ever gone through.
  24. It does, and on purpose. The forces are completely bearable throughout. Even in the back, where the roll is fastest, there's only a max lateral acceleration of 0.4G. I'm experimenting with variations on typical loops and dives. There are also several points on the track where riders can "catch their breath" before the ride tears through again. One such example is the curve that goes through the "rho loop" (first inversion). It has 1.2G sustained for a second or so, with a very quick transition to 3.8G.
  25. You might not be a fan, but Cedar Fair is - remember that making money is the number one goal here.
