  1. Yeah, hopefully, as the years go by, it will get better as the few trees and bushes they planted fill in a little.
  2. Yeah, it was like above the jerseys and to the left a little, they had a Wii box attached to the fence with a sign next to it that said, "Jumbo Prize" or whatever the highest one was. I like how each game is themed to the area. The Demon Drop one looks completely different from the FT one.
  3. Woohoo! Going to CP next week, either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Forget the POV, I'm going to see the real thing! Maverick, here I come!!!!
  4. Which one are you talking about? I was just watching the Demon Drop one, I'm not sure about the Frontiertown one.
  5. Maybe today's Extra Point entry will be the POV!
  6. Well, I emailed them a couple days ago to make sure and it's definitely official now, I'm parking in the SC lot, here's the email I got this morning. "Hello, Thank you for your interest in Cedar Point. You may park in the Soak City parking lot instead of the main lot. If you have any other questions about Cedar Point, please call our Information Line. Judy S."
  7. ^ I'll be there within the next 2 and a half weeks. I'm probably going to wear something Steelers, I wear glasses, and have light brown hair. I'll look for your name tag!
  8. ^ That really sucks. Sorry to hear that.
  9. ^ I know at CP the top prize is a Wii. But at Kennywood, it's just a jersey. I guess it's up to the park at what it is.
  10. Nice PTR! I might head out there this year, not sure yet. Only 1 pic of Dominator?
  11. Old western theme then. Either way, there's no grass. lol, I can never get enough of that pic. The girl on the right is getting some serious headbanging, the kid looks like he's going to fall out, and the guy looks like he is going to explode out of the restraints.
  12. ^ It is themed around an abandoned mine and, the last time I checked, grass doesn't grow in mines.
  13. Maverick does, indeed, have Stengel Dives. Look at these pics. This is a Stengel Dive. This looks almost exactly the same. IMO it's a Stengel Dive.
  14. My guess would be because of the water things attached to the last car.
  15. Not all the time, but when I'm going, SC opens with the park at 10 am. I plan on getting there around 9, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't let me park yet. Yes, they are connected.
  16. I just thought of something. I noticed that SC is only open until 9, whereas the park will be open until 10. You don't have to be out of the SC lot at 9 when it closes, do you?
  17. Thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate it. It's settled then, I'm going to park in the SC lot. I still have to wait around until 10, though. Oh well, at least they'll be open until 10pm, unlike my first trip, they were only open until 7pm. Can't wait for the trip now!
  18. 1 more! Is there a booth at the entrance to the SC lot? Or do you just go in and park like the breakers lot? I should have asked this from the start, but, do you have aim? It would be easier to talk there.
  19. Sorry about all the questions, but this will be it, I promise! I've gone to the breakers numerous times, but I've never really payed attention. When you are at the front, you just go to the left booth like you were going to the breakers and tell them you are going to Soak City?
  20. ^ Well put. Yeah also, when I was there last year, not only was X open, but Deja Vu was also...and it never broke down once all day!
  21. Yeah, because on a skateboard you can go 63 mph, 150 feet high, and upside-down 7 times.
  22. What are you talking about? I went there last summer for the first time and it was nothing like you just said. It was pretty clean, in my opinion, no line jumpers, I heard no "language" nor saw no violence, and they have a great collection of coasters that shouldn't be moved anywhere. The only problem was that the operations were kind of slow, but that was expected. In my opinion, Knotts is just a huge kiddie park with an Intamin rocket, a B&M invert, and a woodie. To tell you the truth, we got there a few hours after it opened, and had ridden everything multiple times before4:30-5:00 and ended up leaving at around 5:30 because of boredom. I would rather spend the day at a park that will keep me busy all day long, SFMM, instead of only a few hours, KBF.
