  1. Yeah, that's my problem, none of my coasters so far have had good turns into the station. Is there a technique I can practice or something?
  2. ^ What sound do you mean? Because other than the two launches, it is extremely quiet.
  3. Awesome! I'm planning on going in August sometime, so I hope it's open by then!
  4. ^ I believe you now, it's EXACTLY the same except for the station, wheel, and 2 supports. It's in the same exact position on the map and everything. Eric Smith is a fraud. EDIT: Also, in alex's version that he posted, the brakes kick in just like Eric's did when he posted it. That proves it, alex made this coaster.
  5. About 5 hours, depending on how fast or slow you go. Mapquest says 4 hours, and We made it in a little over 4, even with the insane traffic in Pittsburgh. -James Dillaman Yeah, it all depends on what kind of driver you are. My cousin lives in Cincinnati, so he goes back and forth pretty often, he says it's about 4 hours for him, but he doesn't stop, or if he does, it's very brief. When I went with my parents back in September for a UC Bearcats game, it took about 5 hours to our hotel. But we passed KI and were still on the road for a good 45 minutes before we got to our hotel, so yeah, I'd say about 4 hours.
  6. Yep, most of the time they are, unless something drastic happens, like MF last year, or TTD's cable snapping.
  7. ^ Yep, they are very quick, especially the Stengel, you feel as if you are upside down in an inversion.
  8. Yeah, that was a bad example, especially because I have never actually ridden EE. Let me use another example. I would take SCREAM! at SFMM over Alpengeist, any day.
  9. You would be surprised. Awesome PTR by the way!!! I say they should just leave mean Streak as it is and build a GCI woodie.
  10. Yeah, I worded that weird. What I meant to say was that I prefer the thrill, rather than the theming. I would take SCREAM! at SFMM over Expedition Everest any day.
  11. About 5 hours, depending on how fast or slow you go.
  12. That is true, now that you mention it, they are better themed from the pictures I have seen. Personally, though, I could care less about theming. I am a thrill seeker who goes to parks for the rides and thrills only, whether they are themed or not, I don't care. If I wanted to go somewhere where there were a lot of trees, grass, flowers and open space, I'd go to a regular park, but that's just me.
  13. Yeah, that's what i had figured, but wasn't sure.
  14. That was great!!! Very smooth and accurate. Just one thing, Why did the brakes kick in after the loop? That doesn't happen in real life. At least when I rode it, and in all the videos I've seen, it didn't.
  15. It's slightly short, but it was losing speed towards the end, so I had to end it or it would start to crawl through the course. Bumpy only in a couple places, but not all that much. Keep in mind that I am still learning. Please comment. Lift hill and first drop. A turn and lift hill shot. Train on one of the turns with lift hill and airtime hill in the background. Spartan.nltrack GCI Woodie...my 5th NL coaster.
  16. Deja Vu at SFMM was very smooth when I was on it.
  17. I will be going to SFGADV in about a week and a half, and this is the hotel that I will be staying at ( http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?propertyCode=31028 ), it's the closest one to GADV (18 miles). I don't know what your price range is, but it's not that expensive.
  18. Great PTR!! Some great photos you took! I will be there in about a week and a half for the first time ever! I can't wait! Hopefully B:TC will be open, I'll be cutting it really close. How are the crowds on weekdays?
  19. ^ Sure. Here are two more of the lift hill and helix and of the turnaround. Lift and helix. Turnaround
