  1. ^I can’t imagine the owner of a high performance race car being satisfied with said vehicle not being able to complete more than a few laps per race.

  2. In their defense, though it's described as a "family" coaster, it really is for kids and 45 seconds is more than adequate (if you actually time most kids' rides cycles you'll find much of the same). Just like the advertisement of Larson Loops as "coasters," it's just marketing. It's the same exact layout as the one installed at KI last year, which has been a hit with the intended target (kids) from everything I've seen. I've ridden it, and yeah it's short, but it's not for us. EDIT: For reference, RCDB lists the duration of Snoopy's Soap Box Racers (the identical model at Kings Island) as 1:36.

  3. I'd also imagine the owners of a high-powered race car also needs it to be a smooth ride over time to prevent pieces from shaking apart. I'm sure TTD2 rides fine now but so did the Thunderbolt models when they opened and now... I just rode one of the newest Zamperla Double Helix at 6 months old, a small ride they've had 40 years to perfect, and it already rode like, if not worse, than the 38-year-old version the other side of the country.

  4. Looks like TT2 might of added some stress to your trip but seems that it will be opening today.

  5. So, Cedar Point is getting a family boomerang next year?
