They were testing TT2 for several hours last night. Even had water dummies on one of the trains. Might be opening sometime real soon.

Funnily enough, I chose Kings Island over Cedar Point because TT2 is dead in the water. I saw Beast went down and was a little disappointed, but I already got multiple laps, including a night ride during the fireworks, in 2003 so it wouldn't yuck my yum for the day. If it's actually open, though, great!

I was there yesterday and it was cycling non-stop all day half-filled with dummies (the water kind as opposed to the general public kind). My guess is that it'll be open in the coming days. Apocalypse and Crazanity were down, but everything else was running. The park was quiet, but most rides were single-train ops. Be warned that the parking lot is a bit of a mess right now, but the new solar system thing they're installing seems quite impressive. It provides a ton of shade, and I'd be curious to see the numbers that thing generates.

My wife and I went there and had the same experience as you basically. Tip for ya, in the off months there (Winter/early spring) they sometimes do offer a deal that is $35 per person, and you can ride the coaster all day. I think my wife and I did 12 rides before my back said no more... you are old!

Reasons why I'm drunk right now: Idiocracy at work. The Timberwolves are officially out of the NBA playoffs. (I'm only a fairweather Basketball fan so whatever) In memorial of the officers and bystanders that were shot in Minneapolis tonight. May those injured have a speedy recovery.
