  1. The Swedish park Furuvik has teased a new attraction - most likely a coaster – for the 2023 season. The park is owned by Parks and Resorts Scandinavia, famous for turning Kolmården into a true destination park for coaster fans park with the addition of Wildfire a few years ago. What could it be that they are planning this time? Mynewsdesk.mp4

  2. I know that we all want to laugh, but maybe he’s using a 56k AOL free trial dial up connection and he hit the post button 5 days ago. Be nice.

  3. That's a cool perk for hotel guests. They can beat the mad rush of people to Magnum XL 200.

  4. Pretty awesome days yesterday and Friday at the park. Friday crowds were nonexistent because of the slight rain, and yesterday was a bit windy, but great weather overall. Fury and Intimidator were closed most of yesterday because of the wind, but I was able to sneak in two rides on Intimidator during periods of being open, and able to ride Fury Friday night, so no biggie there. I was very pleasantly surprised with Copperhead Strike, and really enjoyed that. Also a plus that it and Afterburn stayed running in the cold and high winds, and were right next to each other so I could keep going back and forth lol. I didn't know what to expect being so early in the season, but the only major coaster still down was Nighthawk with no train even on the track yet. But such is life, and as a first time visitor, I really enjoyed this park. I definitely hope to be back sooner rather than later.

  5. According to some sources, Kumba would be retired at the end of this season. It is reaching the end of its life.

  6. If I'm already spending the money, and driving seven hours (or anything more than 50 minutes to SFSTL) I'll be damned if I'm not getting a skip-the-line pass. Although, you may be hard pressed to afford it with gas $4.00. Right up there with the FL+ and lodging increases. Try not to eat, or you'll be spending more there, too. Things are going swimmingly. But, Cedar Point raised their gate prices $10, so the world is ending and f*** all that other stuff.

  7. as others have said, this is happening all over the Country, due to a Pandemic that has interrupted supply chain and the ability to hire/keep employees you should have expected this - and not for the idiotic reason you state "the slow degradation in the quality of service and value" - but rather because there has been a goddamn pandemic. Kudos to Holiday World for opening up what they could. . it's a shame that folks have lost a sense of decency and empathy. From San Francisco area. . but absolutely applies here: https://www.sfgate.com/food/article/SF-Bay-Area-restaurants-customers-rude-Yelp-review-16333535.php?IPID=SFGate-HP-CP-Spotlight

  9. I went to a homicide training/seminar last week. Long story short, one of the incidents involved parents pushing their deceased infant through the park in a stroller, knowing he was dead. True story. Enjoy your next visit. Cheers.
