So, like, can I watch a topic without getting emails?

the subject pretty much says it all...

 

I like that on the site, I can easily check my profile to see topics I'm interested in. Is there any way to watch a topic, yet not recieve emails for each reply?

When you post a reply, simply untick the box that says "Notify me when a reply is posted." Right below where you type the post! 8)

so I have to do that every single time I post? omg... that's a lot of work

 

Edit: You can actually go to profile, go to Profile tab, Profile Settings, then go to Notification, and click on No on the first thing.

ok, so I knew you could opt out of receiving emails if you select the email box, but that also removes that thread from your watched list at Profile>Home. (The page that shows threads you're interested in). So the questions remains... How can I have watched threads appear on my profile home page, yet not get the emails?
