Hopefully this will be the end to Buildings in dire need of some LOVE and AFFECTION!

 

Congrats to Six Flags, this could be a god send in a creative partnership with the Park and Home Depot.

Lets see some buildings around your local Six Flags Park, that needs some love! I will be going back this saturday for the wifes Company gathering the 13th. I will be keeping an eye on the problem areas of the park. Below I show you the que for The Screamin Eagle, at St. Louis. I have other photos of roofing paper exposed and wood just rotting away!

 

For its 30th birthday, More attention should of been given in my opinion!

I actually took pictures of some buildings this time around at SFGA. The buildings to me werent in as much need as some of the rides. It is only only May, and I noticed lots of paint that was desperately needed!

 

And this bothered me alot :

it is the rust that bothered me here

The dripping rust....

It quite possibly is...it just looks so bad, and would fit with the diminishing keep up. There was large chipped paint pieces all over the place though - straight through to the metal. I wish I had taken some pictures of that stuff. I don't think of it until I come up to topics in TPR!

I now wonder if HD will ask Tony "Smoke" Stewart (Nascar #20-HD sponsored car) will be at the parks painting Six Flags buildings now...lol

Looks like they painted to late in the day and and on the wall! Moisture in the evening caused the paint Run. Looks like rust, but probably paint!

 

Shoud definately not be a part of the theming. Thats why we pay more today for everything, all the years of abuse by workers not doing things right the FIRST time. Should of unbolted letters off of wall and painted either on the ground and left to fully dry for 24 hours, inside would of been the obvious

to let dry.

While they're at it I wish they would remove the pink paint from Nitro's rails. Chang looks awesome with the straightup yellow/blue combination, plus I can't stand pink...
