Gnome
I'm super super cereal! South Park reference! Anyways, good update as always. Although when I went on Gwazi 2 weeks ago, I, dare I say it, actually had fun on it.
alpengeist04
Good update, but comparing Gwazi to PGA's Grizzly is a little harsh.
Luxo
Keep up the good hunt for manbearpig.
Jim Disney
Good update, but comparing Gwazi to PGA's Grizzly is a little harsh. I mean... I'm just basing it off my own experiences. I'm sure there are worse rides in the world. But it was pretty bad when we rode it. I guess for us it was just bland and not that fun. But thanks for the compliments. I had to throw some Manbearpig references in there... I couldn't resist really. Glad ya'll enjoyed it!
TheStig
^As BGT(A) is my home park, I completely agree with you 100% that Gwazi is the suck. I was smooth and thrilling like the day it opened, but then the suckage started shortly after. To sum it up, I think Mean Streak is better but its about tied with SoB. Nice update, I should really start posting at WC again... Colin C
Jon Sabo
Upon closer inspection......ummm.....ahhhh....OH MY! That photo (Montu-statue) looks vaguely familiar to my mother-in-law....wow Ooops..did I say that? Why yes....yes I did
Jim Disney
^As BGT(A) is my home park, I completely agree with you 100% that Gwazi is the suck. Okay, so I'm not insane... as for the Busch Gardens Tampa/Africa thing... have they actually changed the name of the park down there yet? I saw on Screamscape that the new brochures for the park clearly say Busch Gardens Africa, but their website still says Busch Gardens Tampa Bay... so I was unsure of what to post. TheStig
Well the signage is all still Busch Gardens Tampa and everything, the commercials are still Busch Gardens Tampa, the season passes are still Busch Gardens Tampa, and even the main entrance sign is still Busch Gardens Tampa! Honestly though, I was at BGT(A) last weekend and didnt hear "Africa" mentioned at all, only "Tampa"! Im guessing that maybe over the summer or at the beginning of next year that the name change will take place, because theres a LOT of work to be done re-labeling rides and making new signs for the entire park. We shall see!!! Colin C
w. josh
There are a couple of SheiKra billboards on I-4 that now say "Busch Gardens Africa", actually, but other than that, yeah, everything still says "Tampa".

Jim Disney
We added a new update to close out the week... this time from Magic Mountain! Since we didn't have a SFMM update for the entire month of April, we felt it'd be best if we did SOMETHING. So here ya go! Westcoaster Update - 05/05/2006 - Six Flags Magic Mountain There's pictures of Geese! And messy construction areas... And track that's been photographed like a million times! And port-a-potties! Enjoy!!
ECZenith
Awesome Tatsu photos. I love how they're still adding so much detail to the area. Does it look like they're going to paint ALL of Revolution and not just the sections visible to non-riders?
Jim Disney
^Well, I'd love to think that they're going to paint the whole thing... at least I hope they do!
Jim Disney
Let's play "Here's a 2 year old thread, we'll revive it!" I'll use this one to post updates from non-TPR trips that ya'll might find interesting. Today it's From Knott's Scary Farm this last Friday! During the day in October, it's basically the best time to hit Knott's. There's never any lines for pretty much anything. During the day, it's not so spooky... I guess it's a guessing game... They should've called this one Kingdom of The Dinovampiresaurs since a bunch of sets from Kingdom of The Dinos were used in the beginning part of this maze... It's a fun maze... needs a little work, but it'll get better with time. Dan almost got molested by a monster... Corkstalkers was impossible to get photos in... but was a really good maize! This'll be the last year for 13 Axe Murder Manor... Also the last year to get scared by Jewy over at the Asylum So there ya go! As always there's a LOT more over at Westcoaster, so check it out! Enjoy! Westcoaster Update - 09/29/2008 Knott's Scary Farm Halloween Haunt
