dandaman Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 ...and I rather like it! Looks like they added Skyhawk to the animated banner at the top of the page. T&T say it'll be up and running on Opening Day. Other nice changes, too. They actually have higher-quality videos now, instead of the awful ones they used to have. Also, the park webcams have been tweaked with a bit. Instead of the page automatically refreshing 10 times, and then asking you if you want to keep refreshing, it does it anyways now. (Believe me, I could use this. ) They've added photo galleries to the attraction pages, too. Many other changes as well, but I invite you to discover them for yourself. www.cedarpoint.com (But you knew that.)
pkdcoaster Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Realy cool..Iron Dragon POV from 1987..WOW that area sure has changed...I just wish there was a way to save them without buying Quicktime PRO Wow and Mean Streaks POV from 1991..no brakes and very fast... you can almost smell the fresh wood I wish all parks did this JEFF
viking86 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 It was really cool to see what some of those rides were like when they ran without trims. Heck even Mean Streak looked pretty fun.
dandaman Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 All of those vids were already posted on the site, just they were extremely low-quality. T&T said it could be used to see what the park looked like before all the additions. By the way, CP's finally coming up with a new nighttime show, to replace the god-awful "Snoopy's Summer Spectacular". They're using a new pyro effect called "Firewater". I've seen it somewhere on the net before, but can't find a pic anywhere. The show's called "Hot Summer Lights".
dandaman Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 Just noticed that they have the menus for most of the restaurants posted up, as well. ACE'rs, plan your trip now!
