FlyingScooter Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Not sure if anyone here uses fitness equipment but i thought i'd ask. I've had a Crossbow for a year. They do make a differance and are a lot cheaper. i had a Nordic Track but gave that to a friend. i did not have the coordination for it... Downhill skiing is much easier... Does anyone else here workout?
Angry_Gumball Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 If you count DDR as a workout, which it is, then yes.
SharkTums Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 We have a recumbent bike in our living room. And we go to Gymnastics class once a week. Elissa "I prefer eating to working out!" Alvey
FlyingScooter Posted March 23, 2005 Author Posted March 23, 2005 I've tried (laughingly so) DDR... That's not just a workout. That's a workout on steroids... Good point, Angry... That would most certainly count.
Real Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Once a week I do DDR. Recently, Ive started a routine. Every other day I work out on abs, chest, shoulders and arms. Between those days I am running 3 miles to lose the weight so I Can get that beach body by summer The working out isnt so bad, Ive worked at UPS for over 2 years, its tough enough. But the running which Ive just started SUCKS. My ankles feel like they are going to just snap because they arent used to that kind of work. Oh well, itll all be worth it in the end. Ill be DDR'ing every day here in couple of weeks...I Hope.
Big Ed Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I have a five day workout routine I use. I try to complete one cycle per week. I spend a day on each of the following: chest, biceps, triceps, back/shoulders, and legs. I also try to do either 30 minutes on the stair master or 350 calories on DDR workout mode. I have a crossbow which I used for over a year. However, they recently opened a brand new YMCA near my house and I find I get a better workout with actual weight resistance than the bands on the crossbow.
