  1. Homer: "I am so smart, S-M-R-T...I mean S-M-A-R-T." Mr. Rogers: "It's a beautiful day...for me to kick your ass!"
  2. call Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick the fish in the gills and rip out its spine and give it to...
  3. ^ I still remember seeing a 400 pound man operating the ferris wheel with an open beer next to his chair at a fair when I was growing up
  4. Or riding a Round Up the last day of a fair and having your buddy standing next to you reminding you that in a few hours it will be in many pieces on the back of a truck.
  5. Three guys are at a brothel, one's going in, one's on his way out, and one's inside. What are their nationalities? The guy going in is Russian, the guy leaving is Finnish, and the guy inside....Himalayan.
  6. On hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95 year old grandmother and comfort her. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning." Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble. "Oh no, my dear, " replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong." She paused, wiped away a tear and then continued, "And if that damned ice cream truck hadn't come along, he'd still be alive today!"
  7. ^ The song from that episode was the best. "Lemmiwinks, Lemminks, don't let your time pass, You must begin your journey out of the gay man's ***" Or something like that
  8. Homer is definitely my favorite Simpson family member but Ralph is probably my favorite overall. Ones not listed I like are Barney, Moe, and Jasper. "The doctor said I wouldn't get any nosebleeds if I just kept my finger outta there" "There is a surprise in the tunk"...I think he means trunk."
  9. I used to go to Funland almost every summer as a kid. In 93 my parents bought a condo on the Jersey coast and, therefore, I haven't been to Rehobeth in over 10 years. Thanks for the pics. It was nice remembering riding the Sea Dragon and being able to see right in people's houses
  10. I thought there was one season of overlap between them. For some reason I remember waiting in line for FD and looking down the hill toward Laser and being scared sh**less my mom was going to try to get me on it. I think it was the first or second season it was there. I believe it was sponsored by Laser 104 as they continually played that radio station in the que.
  11. ^ It took me another visit to work up the courage for Thunderhawk. I remember my parents trying to get me on Laser but that didn't happen for another year or two.
  12. I am 26 and my first coaster was The Flying Dutchman at Dorney Park during the early 80s.
  13. Mine would be Morey's Piers. My parents own a house in Sea Isle City and I had a season pass for Morey's for three straight years. I usually went at least once per week.
  14. What the hell is a jigowatt! Old School
  15. My dad designs and prints calendars for a couple of local churches. A few years ago, right before going to print after having been proofread by various people, the person printing the copies noticed that instead of saying "Happy Father's Day" the calendar actually read "Happy Farter's Day". Luckily, he was able to catch the error and fix it before printing.
  16. How did the Crossbow work for you? I have one, myself, but I find that weights provided me with a better workout than bands. I only use my Crossbow now if I can't make it to the gym.
  17. I usually work out five times per week hitting either one or two major muscle groups with weight training and then about 30 minutes of cardio on either a stairmaster or DDR. One word of caution when it comes to working out and theme parks. I actually weigh a little bit more I did last year but my waist is smaller and my chest and shoulders have bulked out. I made my first trip to SFGAdv a few weeks ago and had a little trouble with the OTSR on Batman as I could barely get it to click once (and one time even going around with just the seat belt holding it on, talk about scary when I found that out at the end of the ride). So, sometimes muscle building affects being able to ride. Here are some things I found that could help jump start your weight loss again. First of all, have you considered diet soda? I used to hate it but was forced to drink it when I was diagnosed with juvenlie diabetes in 11th grade. Now, ten years later, I really enjoy it and, in fact, can't stand regular soda. Also, if you drink alcohol that not only increases caloric intake but also reduces the rate at which fat is burned. It took me finally getting over my college party years to see some significant weight loss. Finally, try to find foods that you like and can still eat a lot of. I enjoy a romaine salad with fat free dressing. I can eat a huge plate for under 200 calories. Another snack I enjoy is Jello sugar free jello topped with a spoonful of Cool Whip Fat Free. One serving is about 50 calories but helps satisfy a sweet tooth. These are just a few suggestions. I hope that helps.

  19. I've ridden Sea Serpent at Wildwood close to 200 times. (I know it's a Boomerang but my parents bought a shore house when I was 12 and the first few seasons that was Morey's only "big" coaster) At SFGAdv ridden Nitro 15 times in one day and rode Batman:The Ride 8 times in a row.
  20. In high school I attended a ladership conference and met a kid named Mike Lit. (I have also heard someone claim they knew a Mike Hunt) Now, as a teacher, there is a student in my school named Harry Boles.
  21. I have a five day workout routine I use. I try to complete one cycle per week. I spend a day on each of the following: chest, biceps, triceps, back/shoulders, and legs. I also try to do either 30 minutes on the stair master or 350 calories on DDR workout mode. I have a crossbow which I used for over a year. However, they recently opened a brand new YMCA near my house and I find I get a better workout with actual weight resistance than the bands on the crossbow.
  22. RC Freak, As a current math teacher, I must say kudos on remembering FOIL
