coasterluver Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Hi, Im curently building a k'nex theme park. So far i have got a spin doctor type ride, a rollercoaster a pirate ship and a ferris wheel. It's looking really bare at the moment so if anybody has any ideas of how to get cheap k'nex i will be most gratefull thanks peter
FlyingScooter Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Not sure about England places to shop. Thrift stores like Goodwill stores are good for knex and Lego stuff. Second-hand stores in general are good to try.
Canobie Fan Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 EBAY! Oh my god ebay! I got a SS coaster new off ebay for what 10$.... You can also get BIG piles of knex or legos on ebay.. Like 40lbs bags on them for 30$
AznShortBoi8021 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Knex.com sells parts in bulk and stuff. But if my math is correct(it's correct 90% of the time) it would be cheaper to buy a lot of sets than purchase large quantities of parts. As Canobie Fan said, eBay is an excellent website to shop for K'nex parts.
ParkTrips Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Like 40lbs bags on them for 30$ Really? Damn glad I wasn't selling in that market. <<-- sold 55 lbs of Legos for $300 on ebay
coasterluver Posted March 5, 2006 Author Posted March 5, 2006 Thanks but i don't have a credit card=(
benzo41190 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I made one of these once before. There was a Skyscraper, mini ferris wheel, sizzler type ride, gravatron, discus, Ali Baba. The park was preety cool and I still have some of the rides built in my closet.
