dc006f5086
/\ Stealth is having teething problems. The ride will not open on thorpes opening day but it should be open for april. Both of you will also get to ride Charlie and the chocolate Factory alton's new multi-million pound family ride. Plus also Riddler you will be visiting during the chocolate towers event. A large chocolate festical that will be taking place in the park. Free chocolate the lot. Enjoy yourselfs.
BMPP
I don't think that has been confirmed about Stealth, yeah it's having a few issues but still. Not unless you know somthing we don't. I'm sure your looking forward to visting some of the best parks in europe. I think the charm of the u.k parks are so unique compared to other parks around. Don't miss X at Thorpe, for a ride like no other lol. It's just a shame you didn't get a chance to do Prof Burps Bubbleworks was such an amazing expereince. Oh yeah Hex is amazing too, If you get a chance have a 99 cone mmmm Enjoy your trip!!!
Blastaman
thanks a lot!! I hope that stealth will open that day because the first reason of the trip is the intamin new coaster.
verticalzero
Nearly all the coasters at Thorpe Park and Alton Towers are unique. Nemesis will make your headspin and Oblivion will give you an instant rush.. I'm going to Thorpe Park for my Birthday on the 30th March but won't be riding Stealth as it's not my kind of coaster. I'm sure it's amazing to ride. I should be able to visit Alton Towers sometime this year as I have not been for 3 years, not sure about Rita as I don't like LIM'ed starts much. I'm on a "Rail-tour" of the South Coast of England on the 1st April. This is one of my other hobbies which I have.
mark9
If Stealth isn't your type of coaster, Rita won't be either. Have a great trip Blastaman. (Do Thorpe first, its the more depressing of the 2 )

martinb
Thorpe Park is tiny compared to Alton Towers Also Alton Towers' attempt to theme different areas is great but Thorpe Park's isn't, I can hardly tell the difference when Im walking round the park, it all looks the same, but Alton Towers really takes your breath away! If its quite at Thorpe Park, later in the day you should take a trip down the road to Chessington, its GREAT, even though its aimed at families! Blastaman
Is there anyone that can tell me how to buy Alton Towers ticket+virgin train on line? Thanks
SteveC
you can try www.midlandmainline.com and enter Alton Towers in the search criteria. This should bring up the current package prices and times for you (including park entry). Not a Virgin Train but it will get you there, travelling up from London St Pancras Station. Hope that helps Cheers Steve
