nicktheride
Hey all your crazy americans. lol I just wanna yet you all know of the new Zamperla Twister coaster, that is being build at my homepark, Tivoli Friheden, in Århus(the second biggest city in Denmark) right now, ready to open with the park on the 15th of Aprill this year for the parks 102th season. I've been there a few times since they started the construction of the ride, and will continue to follow it until it opens. I'm going to the ''media day'' the day before the ride officialy opens on the 14th of Aprill, and hope to get alot of photos and videos(both on-rides and off-rides) of it. Other news for the 2006 season is the repainting of theirs old Pinfari ZL42 coaster, called ''Rutschebanen'' which is denish for ''The rollercoaster''(lol... Yeah, it's not the best name... but what the fuck, it isnt the best coaster either, so... hehe). The coaster is getting brand new colors this yeah. The track is being painted black instead of the old yellow color, and the supports is being painted red instead of the old blue color. Sounds bad, right? Well, it looks very nice infact when you stand by it in real life, or in the COOL photos i have taking of the ride. And BTW, Tivoli Friheden is a very nice and special park, that i love to visit, and the Pegasus ride is to AWESOME!!! Have rode it 43½ times in the 2005 season! Yeah, its a awesome flat ride, not the old looping coaster. We got lifted up, and we were jsut started to spin before it slowed down again, and then the arm was being lowed down to the ground again just for a bit of time before we were lifted uo again and got a full ride. Pretty cool, i think. Yeah, its a very nice park, that not many know about, which is a shame becourse its a really nice and cool park, with a very nice atmosphere, nice and cool daily entertainment, cool concerts everly friday in june and july, and much more. I'm going back to the park this freday and hope to take some photos of the track and supports if they have arrived yet, as they are susposed to, so execpt a new update late friday or saturday(or maybe sunday, depends on if have the time to do it and so, but i'm pretty sure i/my family dont have any plans right now)
mightypotato
I'm not a big Zamperla fan, seeing as how my entire opinion of them is based off of the Volare. But, hopefully this ride will prove me wrong. Its always exciting to see any park get any kind of new coaster.

That's really been the company's focus over time. Check out the manufacturer's list break down at flatrides.com. I think you'll be surprised. benzo41190
That loop looks painful I never really like Pinfari coasters that much. But it does look pretty cool.

Yeah, that old coaster is alot painful, but i hope that they have bought some new trains for it this year, and as the coaster is 20 years old this yeah(1986-2006), and that it have been repainted, I think/hope that they have bought some new trains, as the old ones was REALLY painfull and there wasnt much space to yours legs, and the OTSR wasnt the best at all. nicktheride
Well. I got off from school early today and decided to go to the park, becourse i have read on the officiel website that the steel construction would begin today, and truly it was! Most of the supports for the noisewall have been erected, and they were working at the first floor-leveled gry supports for the coaster itself, and some workers were working on adding some large and long steel beams over the river, to have the coaster go on. Also, the rest of the track and supports for the coaster have arrived, so i'm pretty sure that they have added some real supports with hopefully tracks on, when i go back to the park on friday, on the way home. I also took alot of photos today, but i can't upload them here at my school, so exept them to be uploaded sometime this coming weekend.
