Homer Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 The Northwest, an area lacking in thrill rides or a theme park. Until one theme park built by the Funzones chain in the early 1970's bought a fledgling ski resort and made it one of the northwest's premier family entertainment centers. Welcome to Funzones Cascade Kingdom! A major resort destination nestled in the Cascade Mountains on the foot of "Mount Fun". With an array of unique thrill rides such as... ... ... your family will have the funnest days of their lives! Construction screens: Main entry under construction. I redid the castle thingy and am considering getting rid of the ticket buildings in front of it. Construction of the resort at Cascade Kingdom, featuring an indoor pool and more. The lift station and the ice skating rink are located below as well. Comments?

Hattuchili Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 WOW, that looks really good! I hope to see much more of it, soon! --Sören
DATman Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Your entrance looks like it's gonna fall over... But other than that, it looks great!
viking86 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Your entrance looks like it's gonna fall over... Yeah that was my thought too. It looks like its gonna collapse.
Homer Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 Thanks for the comments! Improved entryway (yes its completed and won't collapse over);
music11 Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 the park is looking good. It has a lot of bright colors maybe you should tone down the colors a little bit but the entrance colors look fine. Although the park right now looks good. Maybe a possiblity of adding trees. keep up the good work tho.
krouvi Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 I like the park enterance although it is not so realistic. Can't wait to see your ski resort part.
Homer Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Today's update includes some more details and revisions of the entrance area. The (seasonal) outdoor eating area for the Mountain Cafe restaurant. Also to the far right is the exclusive theme park entrance for hotel guests. The redone entry complex for the theme park. Note, I havent selected all of the land I want to own yet. But a critique of my past parks were "varying the terrain". So, I am busily adding some hills for terrain varying. How do I do this? Comment and enjoy...
Hattuchili Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 The hotel is great and the new entry looks much better! Good job, man! I can´t wait to see more, soon! --Sören
