Sir Clinksalot Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7173190/ So expect more of the same that we got from Eisner ...
Jose Eber Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Jeez, that guy looks a little uptight. If he is as intense as he looks -- watch that company TANK.
CoasterEricHP Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Isn't Iger one of Eisner's yes men?? That should do a whole lot of good for the company. Guess at this point we pray that another company buys out Disney and brings in someone with the same vision as Walt and doesnt feel the need to give himself $100 million bonuses. Eric "Pooh Playgrounds for all!!" Geiple
Wes Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 This could be seen coming from a million miles away. Iger has doing the rounds and visiting all the divisions. It was obvious for a long time he was gonna be the next CEO.
Dr Freeze Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I think Meg Whitman would have been great. I saw a story on her (I think on 20/20) she has a great work ethic. She doesn't have a special corner room with a view, she has a cubicle, just like everyone else at the office.
Real Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 ^And shed probably be the best for the job. People who come from those sort of positions usually have a better understanding and respect for whats going on. Why most good companies promote from within.
