Nemmy Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Thanks to Zach the 13 year old with anger problems brekaing his main PS2 controller, we only had the crappy Dualshock controller to play with. So we shared, because sharing is caring and caring is scaring. And at the end of the event, Zach won with this combo! I hop the bleachers on what looks to be a promising combo run, but the stupid Triangle button didn't push and I lost the combo right there and then. Another created trick, the "Mute 1080". A classic because it only scores 1,500 points, while the Indy 900 scores 11,000 points (in THPS4 at least). Zach's "Anderson Grind", it's kind of like a Primo Slide 180. I pick up a lost board and mount it, something that's always fun. Here, you can see the frontflip in action. Stupid shutter speed, it took like fifty tries to nail this picture. My turn again! As you can see, "Front Tuck" is showing up on the screen, indicating that the character is landing a frontflip from the top of the escalator. Zach landing a wallflip. Zach makes his character stand defiantly after a wallrun to wallflip. Now Zach's up and he vaults into a Shimmy. It's either a bad cannonball or a frontflip. Can YOU guess which one? I start off with a nice wallrun.
dragoncoaster1292 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Woah! That combo is huge! My top combo is only lke, 500,000! Thank God for flatlands! EDIT: Now it's 1,000,000!
Splash_Mountain Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I beat this like a few hours ago... I had to do from Santa Monica onward twice cause my PS2 froze in a "streaming" area from Hollywood to Beverly Hills. Iggy Van Zant... he's wearing bulletproof vest right?
robbalvey Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Wow, cool. I always like to see threads talking about my companies games! --Robb
Nemmy Posted January 3, 2006 Author Posted January 3, 2006 Robb, I don't mean to offend, but THAW really did suck. I know it wasn't your fault, so go tell your colleagues to bring back Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Career Mode back! THPS4 is my favorite game - ever.
momo1tx Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 ^ Strange, I've heard almost all good reviews about this game.
coasterguy618 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I love all Tony Hawk Games. I have every one. I have to say America's Wasteland is the easiest though. I beat it in 3 days on Hard and I'm average at video games.
Nemmy Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 I beat it in two hours, never did a goal more than twice. On Sick. Took me longer to beat THUG1 on Easy.
