SFMM trip, need advice.

Recommended Posts

I'm planning to go to SFMM sometime next week. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like next week and what the best day to go is? Also, what kind of waits for rides I should expect? I don't get to go very often because of circumstances, so it would be great if this visit went well. Thanks in advance.

I went there two summers ago, and the batman and RR waits should be pretty long. Later in the day Revolution and Ninja were complete walk-ons. Viper had like a 10 minute wait, colossus was a walk on. Goliath was a walk on when the park opened. Goldrusher was a walk on. Scream was a walk on (although I didn't go on it.)

Well it is winter vacation for most California schools so it should be pretty busy, although I did go last week which was vacation days for school and it was pretty empty, very low wait times for all attractions. So it is hard to say. I would check the weather forecast, if it is a real nice sunny day expect it to be busier than if it is overcast.

lets see.....since my pal had his bday party there once around this time of year.........

crowds will be moderate, but don't get your hopes up. like most parks, there are a lot less people during the night, but during the day expect most rides to have a good wait. i suggest getting to the park asap and going to your favorite ride once the gates open. there is almost little to no line. that's how i got 3 rides in a row on goliath. almost blacked out, but it was worth it.....

I'm sure my school isn't the only one that starts back again on the second. I doubt it would be crowded on the third.

LAUSD (Lazy, Autistic, Unorginized Students District) schools go back on the 9th... but i have also heard that the first weekks of january are the deadest of the year... so it's a toss up.

Honestly, just because the schools are out, dosn't mean the students are going!

At least thats how it is here, in Valencia/Santa Clarita. We can walk to Magic, and yet nobody wants to go.

I really wouldn't expect any "horrible" crowds. I went twice last week, and it was very light.
